"Is there anything you need to tell me?"

Shouta knows he can be intimidating. Or at the very least, that he's not the kind of teacher that most kids would ever want to share their feelings with, if they had a choice. But even so... he hopes things might be different with Todoroki. Though he'd never admit to it easily, his coworkers are right when they tease him over the connection he's formed with class 1-A - he's fond of them, and holds a level of respect for their capabilities and passion that only reinforces that feeling.

But it's not always so easy for a student to put their trust in their teacher. Shouta knows the art of patience, so he's taking it slow - but he still finds himself hoping, against all odds, that he can be someone Todoroki can trust, too.

"I'm not pressuring you. But I can tell that something's on your mind."
