ksyohan:
@taejoonks
If there was something that Yohan seemed to do well was to piss people off especially those in authority so it was no surprise when he talked back to a teacher and was sent to detention. Â It wasnât like that would stop him from talking back or teach him anything so he simply shrugged and accepted his fate. Â The only thing that he was not that thrilled about was the fact that during detention he had to sit still and that meant he was going to be bored out of his mind. Â As he made his way to detention, that thought had him scrunching his nose in disgust and he decided that he will be sneaking out of detention one way or another.
Sitting all the way in the back, he was glad that at least he wasnât the only one there but he paid little attention to the other students. Â It wasnât like he knew them personally, just because he knew their faces didnât mean he was going to talk to them and well, if he was leaving detention, it was better to do it alone. Â Of course, when he saw Taejoon making his way into detention, he wasnât so sure of that anymore because as much as he didnât care for the other, he at least made life entertaining. Â âTaejoon.â He called out and signaled him to come sit with him as a mischievous smile bloomed on his face. Â There was the possibility that the troublemaker might not want to leave but if that was the case, then Yohan had been wrong about him all along. Â âI am breaking free from this prison, wanna come?â He whispered as he said this and then waited for the younger to reply.
detentions were a big part of taejoonâs life, even before heâd transferred to keisung for his second year. there was nothing that screamed teenage delinquency more than regularly getting the slip from his teacher, and whilst it did contribute to his status as a troublemaker, actually sitting through the ordeal wasnât exactly his favourite thing to do. too often, they were forced to sit in silence and taejoon hated it -- his entire being, after all, thrived off of chaos and a whole lot of noise, mostly from himself.
today, his endless chattering in history class to a fellow student had landed him in detention once more. he dragged his feet as he made his way to the classroom where the detention was supposed to be held at, keeping on a sour expression to indicate his utmost displeasure. heâd been planning to spend the time after classes to trash some of the schoolâs public amenities, maybe work on some tasteful graffiti in the bathrooms. clearly, the plan was foiled, as he found himself entering the class. just as he was about to take a seat, taejoon heard someone say his name, so he turned around. ahn yohan. the neutral, being exactly what he is, was supposed to be bad news for taejoon. but heâd proved to be pretty decent company in all the past times theyâd been in detention together, so taejoon had come to the conclusion that he was alright. coming over to see what yohan wanted with him, taejoon raised an eyebrow at him. âand how do you suggest we do that,â he glanced at the teacher at the front of the class, who was already glaring at him. âwhen weâve got hawk-eye over there?â

ksxsangmin:
seeing this kid squirm really brightened sangminâs mood. he could see his eyes darting around the hallway, but most kids must have still been in class because there was not a single person wandering the hallways except for them. they were alone. sangmin knew he mustâve looked mildly threatening and, that alone, boosted his ego. âyou should really clean up your act, kid. this kind of stuff,â he said, punching the locker once, the sound ringing off the walls of the hallway, and smiling at the boy with full teeth on display, âgets your ass kicked. you know that right? at the very least, donât fucking stick around to admire the work. rookie mistake.â he tsked, and stood at full height.
the boys name suddenly popped into sangminâs head and he snapped his fingers. âtaewoon! thatâs you, righ? youâre friends with jinyoung and the pathetic second-in-command chick? oh, i was gonna let you off with a warning, but i really should make an example out of you,â he said, mock sympathy lacing his tone. âhow about we stick with the locker idea? you can fit, i think. iâll need your phone though. canât exactly have you texting your leader for help or that would defeat the whole point,â he said with a smile on his face and promptly holds out his hand, waiting for the other boy to hand it over.
the deafening sound of the strong fist against the metal locker startled taejoon, and was getting him even more nervous than ever. the smile sangmin was wearing was akin to the baring of the fangs of a canine in the face of its prey, and in that moment, taejoon really did feel quite like a helpless animal stuck between the claws of its enemy. âvalid point,â he nodded, gulping. âduly noted, and will not be repeated in the future.â his initial plan to keep his punishment prolonged as possible was starting to backfire on him -- taejoon half-wished the taller boy could just sock him in the face and be done with it already.
âitâs taejoon, actually,â he corrected, slightly ticked off by the mispronunciation of his name. âand yes, jinyoung is my friend, and might i remind you, also the leader of the troublemakers?â he braved a smirk. âyouâre gonna get your ass handed to you once this is over.â frowning at the word âpatheticâ being used to describe jungeun, though, he retorted, âsheâs a better second-in-command than youâll ever be, thatâs for sure.â at this point, sangmin was demanding to hold his phone hostage, apparently having decided on shoving him inside the locker as the final penalty. âoh, come on, thatâs just low,â taejoon shook his head, not intending to surrender his phone to the boy. âjust admit youâre scared of facing off with jinyoung and go.â

kseunseo:
while she feels a small victory at his actions, eunseo finds herself steeling her face at his words. none of that was true, right? people didnât view her as a self entitled brat did they? she knows that taejoon dislikes her for whatever reason that maybe, but the small part in her brain canât help but wonder if that could be what others view her as too. after all, she was considered a wannabe- whatâs to say that wasnât the reason why.
âyou know nothing about me, nor do you about jungeunâs feelings.â she tells him, almost wanting the spit in his face or something like that. itâs almost unlike her, to be so spontaneous and loud, but she wasnât going to back down against him. âbesides, if you care about jungeun so much shouldnât you be happy for her? isnât jinyoung your best friend or something? or are you so scared of being a third wheel that you just wonât let that happen?â eunseo asks, rolling her eyes.
why was taejoon just so annoying? jesus, she just wanted to study- not deal with another problem today. âand waiting for her in her room uninvited? âthis is my domain as much as it is yoursâ? first of all, this is my dorm, and i think this would be more of my room than it would be yours. second of all, what kind of wording is that? are you five? i didnât know people still played turf wars.â eunseo says. âjungeun will talk to you when she wants to. if it isnât now, donât push her.â she says. her voice is still as loud and angry as before, but it carried a softer undertone now. she cared about jungeun- and honestly, she didnât want to see her hurt. whatever was going on wasnât eunseoâs problem, but at the very least she wanted jungeun to have at least a moments of rest from it.
taejoon wanted to laugh. did eunseo really not think that her little snotty, rich girl from england act was just plain obvious to everyone else? even a blind person could sense her pretentiousness from a mile away, he thought. âi know enough,â he hissed, narrowing his eyes at her. frankly, he was a little surprised that eunseoâs made it this far into the argument without breaking down -- heâd always thought her as one of those delicate people who couldnât stand hearing bad things about themselves, but the current pluck she was demonstrating seemed to prove him wrong. not that that made her any more likeable.
especially now that sheâd somehow figured out a way to strike another nerve of his, with her retort about jungeun and jinyoungâs relationship, and him as a third-wheel. âthereâs nothing going on between them,â he snarled, stepping a little closer to the girl, âif there was, i would know. i spend most of my time with them. and what does it even matter to you? stay the fuck out of it. jungeun can handle herself, she doesnât need you to butt in and make things worse.â
mimicking her words as she continued her rant, taejoon had no intention of leaving, even if they were to stand around here and bicker all day. âiâm not pushing her,â he snarled, offended that all eunseo could see of him was some pathetic person desperate for jungeunâs attention. âitâs not like that. i just came here to ask her something, which, by the way, you donât have to get your panties in a twist about.â he rolled his eyes. âbet you donât even have anyone asking you to the masquerade, anyways,â he muttered, shooting her a glare. who in their right mind would even do that, anyway? if there was ever a person unhinged enough to do so, taejoon would like to extend them his sincere condolences. good luck dealing with this ultra stick-in-the-mud.

ksjitae:
jitae really didnât have a habit of frequenting behind the school, his own territory there too, just mostly because it was always over crowded and loud and it made him uncomfortable. but today most people were in classes, and the library for once was overfilled with college kids trying to catch up on assignments theyâd missed the deadlines for, and because of that there was nowhere for him to even think about sitting in there anymore. and that was how heâd ended up here.
technically he shouldâve felt comfortable here tooâ apparently he was something of the outsidersâ second in command; that was it. but that wasnât him. that was minsu, and there was a completely good reason for why it was minsu because jitae could never lead in any type of way. that would never be him. and so maybe thatâs another reason he doesnât feel comfortable there.
but it seems like fate has an unlucky game to play on him today, because with there being virtually no one around, it doesnât take long for someone to appear and spot him almost instantaneously. jitae tenses up a little too, worried for what might happen and from his seated position, he looks up at the other kid comes towards him. âi-infamous?â
taejoon admittedly knew very little about jitae, despite having heard about him before. all he really knew was the common knowledge that he had some kind of disorder, one that brought out different personas in him at certain times. from what taejoon understood, jitae has one persona of his thatâs more aggressive, which he guessed better suits the likes of the second-in-command of the outsiders than his normal self. but as far as taejoon could see, jitae just seemed your regular awkward boy and, well, frankly a bit of a pushover.Â
âyeah,â he nodded, approaching the other boy. sizing him up, he could surmise that jitae didnât seem all that threatening to him, though he did have a pretty solid built. âcâmon, you must be aware that the whole school knows about you and your... alter egos?â he shrugged, not knowing if that was the proper term for it, and not quite caring either.Â
leaning against the wall, he continued scrutinising the other. âanyway, what brings you here this time of day, all by yourself? i donât usually see you with your clique when they hang about here.â frowning in thought, taejoon asked, âare they that spooked by your freak-outs when you change forms, or whatever?â heâd heard stories about jitae zoning out just before turning into someone else completely, but had never witnessed it for himself.Â

ksxhoetaek:
hoetaekâs feeling particularly pretty today. donned in one of their favourite black skirt and top combos with their docs, nails, and hair scrunchy all in a matching shade of pastel pink, theyâd gone through the day feeling pretty comfortable in their skin (which is no mean feat for hoetaek, all things considered). right now theyâre headed out of class, done for the day, and itâs just as theyâre thinking about finding somin under the bleachers and serenading her with I feel pretty from west side story when they hear it. a slur, one hoetaekâs all too familiar with, poorly covered up with an unconvincing cough. hoetaek turns, expecting to flip off some douchebag and be on their way, but theyâre surprised to find it wasnât them the insult was aimed at, but a red-headed high schooler.
hoetaek watches as the kid bites back before getting shoved against a locker, and theyâre immediately having flashbacks. a hundred times high school hoetaek had been in this exact situation. a hundred dents over five different lockers. a hundred black eyes and broken lips and scars that run much deeper than the surface. hoetaek may pride themself on being non-confrontational, but thereâs no fucking way theyâre about to let this kid get beaten up. not on their watch.
âhey, dickhead,â hoetaek calls out, distracting the guy enough that the fist heâs just raised doesnât go slamming into the kidâs face, and hoetaekâs pushes their way between the two of them, as best they can in close quarters. âwhy donât you take your hypermasculinity and go fuck off?â hoetaek knows this guy, not his name but his face, and thereâs recognition on his end too, enough for hoetaek to assume he knows who they are. âor should I call somin? and then you can go cry to your friends about how you got beat up by a girl.â
the asshole looks pissed, but hoetaekâs threats are enough, apparently, because he backs off, shouting another few choice slurs at them as he walks away, but hoetaek pays no notice, already turning to the kid. âare you hurt?â hoetaek asks. they donât usually share much emotion with strangers, but hoetaek canât help the genuine concern that colours their expression as they look over the kid, checking for any visible signs of damage.
this is it, taejoon thinks, judging by the sheer anger on the college guyâs face, and the fist getting ready to pummel into his face. eyes scrunched shut, he awaits the final blow... but it never comes. thereâs his hero, sliding in between him and his bully, the swish of their skirt and the pink of their hair scrunchy a little disorienting in the haze of the moment. taejoonâs still pressed up against the cool metal surface of the locker, blinking at the scene before him. heâs not completely sure he knows exactly who his saviour is, but upon hearing the mention of the stonersâ leaderâs name, he thinks he has a rough idea of who they are, though he canât for the life of him recall a name.
it appears that taejoonâs greatly underestimated sominâs influence over the student body, because the douchebag actually skips off, but not without hurling more insults their way, of course. taejoonâs heart is still hammering in his chest, quite loudly at that, but he takes a few breaths to calm down and regain his composure. âiâm okay,â he simply nods, responding to the otherâs question. âor as okay as a person can be when they were this close to getting their gorgeous face ruined, anyway.â his joke comes out weak, none too convincing even with the tilt of a small smile on his face. truthfully, heâs still unnerved. he hadnât been expecting anyone to intervene. the kids in keisung usually donât care about things like this, with the exception of a few.
âthank you,â taejoon mumbles. he maintains the smile on his face, but this time, itâs more sincere than one formed in jest. âi owe you one.â he observes the otherâs outfit, nodding appreciatively. âyou look really nice.â taejoon casts a downwards look, right at the spot between his feet, huffing out a laugh. âyou know, that guyâs had it out for me since the first day i stepped into the college building. his masculinityâs really so fragile that he boiled at the sight of my winged eyeliner -- which was amazingly done, mind you -- and my new pair of wedges. so, he spilled fuckinâ crappy cafeteria coffee on them. my shoes, i mean.â
the grimace on his face fades when he looks back up at his saviour. âbut, well. haters gonna hate, right?â taejoon shrugs. figuring that the other isnât familiar with him, and vice versa, he introduces himself, âiâm taejoon.â tilting his head slightly, he continues, âi assume youâre one of the stoners, then? since you mentioned han somin and all.â heâd never spoken to the aforementioned college senior, but he thinks heâs heard some of the rebels mention her before, in passing.

kstian:
he was really not very comfortable with this whole situation. tian had sort of worked out already that he was going to be stealing stuff, but he had been hoping that maybe he wasnât going to do that. but it appeared that had just been pretty wishful thinking on his behalf and now it was just confirmed as he started stuffing things from the shelves into his pockets. and there was no chance in hell that tian was going to be joining in with that particular activity, just shaking his head as he took a small step back, shoving his hands anxiously into his pockets. he wanted to be no part of this.Â
âno,â he responded pretty stubbornly, sending a glance towards the employee who still seemed to be completely oblivious that this was going on. âitâs not about whether you get caught or not, itâs still wrong.â and not to mention illegal, you could get fined big money for shoplifting and tian had no intentions of getting into trouble like that. his parents would never be able to pay any sort of fine and he supposed that he would be grounded forever if they found out he had been stealing. âand i bet they do care,â he added through slightly narrowed eyes. he should probably do something to stop this, maybe make the employee aware that he was getting robbed, but he didnât actually move to that because taejoon probably wouldnât look too kindly on him after getting him busted.Â
tian simply swatted his hands away as he started to rub his shoulders. âi want no part in this,â he told him rather simply, still backing away to try and put some distance between the two of them. ââiâm leaving,â he just took one moment to stand there before shaking his head and turning around, heading back towards the exit. no, he was not going to be linked together with this older boy if he thought that stealing was all fine and dandy. tian might be poor and his family had no money, but he still had morals and stealing was not okay and it was never going to be, either.Â
it was evident that tian was not up for this, not at all, judging from the way the younger boy was edging away from him bit by bit. for a moment, taejoon considered mocking his fear, but held back from doing so just in case it started to escalate into something uglier, something that could attract attention from the store employee. this was not the time for that. not when they -- he was in the middle of doing this. he wasnât about to let the other boy fuck this up for him.Â
as tian went on to talk about the implications of stealing, taejoon sighed heavily. âyou sound like literally every other person i know.â heâd heard this more than enough times before: this is wrong, this is illegal, this could get you into a lot of trouble. it wasnât like he didnât know it all already, and he didnât need any further reminding from the first year student. forget teaching him anything -- this kid obviously didnât want any part of this. taejoon just hoped he wasnât going to cause a scene while he was busy protesting his innocence.
at being swatted away, taejoon found himself getting even more irritated. heâd offered to help this kid and this was how he was going to be repaid? he rolled his eyes at the kidâs insistence, but simply shrugged in response. âokay, go, then. since you think youâre so above all this shit, anyway.â taejoon turned his back to the boy, who was starting to head for the exit. his mood was spoiled and his ego was trampled on due to the blatant rejection, but taejoon honestly couldnât bring himself to care about it so much.Â
whatever, taejoon thought, a few minutes later when he exited the store by himself with all the stuff heâd taken along with him in his pockets. cracking open his can of cola, he took a sip as he started walking back to his dorm. his loss.
#( interactions !#kstian#i think we can close this thread now lol theres no way to move forward from here#we can always start a new one in the future tho ~#also this was fun 4 for u tian for not letting taejoon corrupt u

ksxsying:
sying supposed it must be strange, meeting someone that you see more so on the tv that actually out in public like a normal person on the basis that if she was out alone like another teenager her age, sheâd get crowded by fans that just wanted nothing more than to either bombard her with questions, or get a picture. and sying loved her fans, she did, dearly, but it scared her sometimes too whens he couldnât walk anywhere without being swarmed, specifically airports. but her head tilted now as sying listened to him talking again. âo-oh⌠not to.. offend you? but you donât really look like one..â she mumbled a little, because he didnât but at the same time she probably shouldnât be too surprised. it just worried her a little bit.
âwell iâve dealt with enough bullies by now to not let words phase me.â and that was the truth of it, even if the words still hurt. but no one here could be as bad as the traineeâs sheâd been with in china that taunted her and pushed her around, or the antiâs that she saw every time she went on to look at comments. sheâd dealt with it all, already. but she did look over at him again then. âi donât really try to give reasons for that.. and even then most people donât need a reason.â she shrugged, the usually bubbly girl kind of saddened by that thought. but it didnât last long.
the comment of taejoon rooting for them had syingâs smile back again, not even affected by the fact that it was his sister he was going more so for. she just liked to hear it, it made her feel happy. âitâs nice to know that, and iâm sure my sister would appreciate hearing that tooâ but either way, they wouldnât have been able to put only one of us in the final group. weâre a package deal.â because neither of them would ever let the company split them up too much anyway, and right now they were only split up because of her health and situation that called for that. âi do. a lot actually. when you spend so much time together of every day, barely split apart, itâs kind of sad when you finally have to part for some reason. iâll get to see them again soon though.â and she knew that theyâd probably end up facetiming her that night.
it was a little surprising, how sying was taking all of this in stride, but he supposed that was a good sign to show that sheâd adapt pretty well to keisung and its unruly environment. she seemed intent to listen to him, too, though it wasnât like he was giving her much of a choice. he hardly did, to anyone he talked to -- once he opened his mouth, there was little anyone could do to stop him from yapping. upon hearing her comment, he frowned. this wasnât the first time heâd heard someone say that he didnât look the part of the troublemaker that he really was, which bothered him a little bit. âwell, i guess thatâs part of my reverse charm, hey?â he shrugged, giving her the only explanation he could think of on the spot.
taejoon hummed at her words. âthatâs good. a thick skin is pretty essential here.â heâd had his own fair share of bullies in the past (even now, truth be told, but itâd gotten a lot better with jinyoung always being around to intimidate them), so he knew perfectly what she meant. he also considered the fact that she was a public figure, which he didnât doubt came with its own set of criticisms and unwarranted hate from everyone else. âthatâs true,â he nodded. âi know i mess with people without reason a lot of the time. but you seem cool, so i think weâll get along just fine.âÂ
his eyes lighting up with an idea, taejoon straightened up on his bed. âdo you think sheâd appreciate it to the point of being willing to give me her phone number?â it was mostly a joke, but it wasnât like he wouldnât be completely over the moon if he did end up getting her number. he listened to her once again, taking it all in. he wasnât going to lie, a lot of what sying was saying was mostly unheard of to him, being from a family whoâd never really been close-knit and fought far more than they showed affection for each other. ânice,â he replied, âdo you think theyâll ever swing by sometime?â taejoon looked around. âi mean, this place sure isnât idol-friendly, but like you said, the media coverage is kept to a minimum, so at least theyâd be safe in that regard.â
