I'm sorry. I'm so sorry to do this to you (the person who wrote this tag, my followers etc) but in the interest of keeping stress down in libraries: the shelving guidelines I followed while volunteering at my local public library explicity said to shelve series alphabetically according to title. So if the number's in the middle/end of the title or. Not part of the title I basically had to ignore it. (Implicit exception: those number-themed James Patterson thrillers every patron's gonna try reordering anyway.) Other libraries could 100% be different but PSA: if you go in and reshelve books so the numbers are in order they will probably be re-reshelved a day or seven later <3
#obligatory “all organizational systems have shortcomings”#to get even more technical the guidelines specified treating numbers as if they were spelled out: so “five” goes before “four” and “three”#which I'm a huge fan of on principle but none of the actual employees did it. Obviously. So#when in Rome

Birdbrain 202.
Formatting this one as originally intended (sorry, you're gonna have to click/zoom in to read no. 3) and never. Planning three panels in a row. Again*
*unless they're clearly legible at the tiniest size imaginable

Birdbrain 201.
Shout-out to FSU Libraries' digital collection, which was more searchable than every other reference photo website I've ever tried to use. So this interior is an ungodly mashup of the few Gressenheller interiors the games give us a look at and a building in Florida as it looked pre-1960. Highly unofficial,,,
EDIT: moved the images around because having three in a row makes them unreadably small lol

Sorry for your loss :)
Found this half-finished portrait in an old* notebook and got around to experimenting with real ink/watercolor again!
Materials used & unedited photo under break
Well. There was also a little plastic mechanical pencil involved at some point in the process. But I forgot to put it in the photo lol
That freakin red-brown calligraphy ink is my favorite thing in the world. I'm starting to think there's a good amount of copper in it because it oxidizes green if left out while watered down... or when it comes into contact with that white ink on its right. Which was mildly annoying to discover by accident here but I'm very excited to be able to use it on purpose in future...! (I just need to figure out how to get more. I'm running out.) *the notebook is who knows how old. Got it secondhand. The drawing dates back to like this April at the earliest
