So, let’s go over everything Wizards of the Coast is trying to do this coming year.
>Erasing everything that made DnD fun
>Sanitizing everything to appease a minority of leftist puritans
>Making anyone who wants to play DnD pay microtransactions
>Making anyone who makes anything based off of DnD pay royalties to Wizards of the Coast
I hope the company fucking crashes and burns, Hasbro failed to claim TSR as their own now we just need it all to crash and burn so TSR can make a big comeback.

13th Age Abomination
So the Abomination in 13th age is very fun, it's like the melee version of a spell caster (based on how many cards I print for combat) but as it's a fan-made 3rd party class it's not completely balanced.
The biggest example is the champion-tier talents which are broken as hell. If you're running a game with an abomination or playing one, an idea to bring up to your GM is instead to take a nerfed version of the epic-tier talent Bloodied Rampage
Champion-tier Bloodied Rampage:
While staggered, you can make a melee attack as a quick action once per battle.
Champion feat: if the attack masses, deal half damage. Epic feat: If you attack an enemy you have previously hit in the same turn, you gain a +2 bonus to the attack.
This is basically just another potential hit, which is extremely comparable to the official class Barbarian's champion-tier talent Violence (where you add a +1d4 to the attack roll once per battle, decided after finding out if you hit or miss).

The game you’re looking for is Toon! It’s great fun, although one of the harder ones to DM imo
i wanna play a tabletop RPG where my six stats are
gumption
chutzpah
moxie
childlike wonder
the cut of my jib
and a certain je ne sais quoi

also seriously if a character isn’t white, i promise your only descriptive options aren’t food words and varying degrees of tan. it’s okay to say brown. pale brown! light brown! golden brown! medium brown! dark brown! deep brown! so many kinds of brown!
BROWN BROWN BROWN BROWN BROWN

We need to start objectifying wizards. We can't slap them on the ass though they only have 4 hit points they may perish

all of your dnd characters are now adventuring together as a single group. what’s that party lookin like and how fucked are they
#i’m gonna assume this means just my currently active ones so….#OP bard who can kill a man with a look. rogue to do some stabbing#(rogue is a fox and therefore hot)#swashbuckler who dies if they don’t take a bath for too long#mental powers villainess who’s kinda like a bard but in the opposite direction of the aforementioned kpop rat one#and fashionista#the only real issue is there’s no one to tank HP

my character in one of my campaigns: 0% the driving plot, goes with what the group wants, acts as a support to everyone and mostly rolls to assist rather than to do
my character in the other campaign: has successfully convinced 4/5 of the party to swear loyalty to her and help her sit on the Throne of Darkness to become the new Mad King
#variety is the spice of life#i rarely commit acts of main character syndrome#this is the first campaign where i’ve been main character-y#and that’s mostly bc it’s so open ended we needed at least one person with a long term goal LMAOOOO

Hot take: not only is the internet's oversexualisation of the Bard not funny, it actively detracts from the experience of playing as one
