“We won’t be,” Echo reassured her, placing his flesh hand on her shoulder. “With this information, Rex and I can try to find out more about Hemlock, maybe find his lab. If we can do that, we’ll find Crosshair, too.”

“Right,” Hunter nodded at Echo gratefully. “We aren’t going to ignore Crosshair. But… I don’t like the sound of this Hemlock. And if Crosshair thinks this guy is dangerous enough to risk trying to warn us, then I think we should do our best to keep you as far from him as possible.”

The others nodded in agreement and Omega looked around the room, shoulders dropping.

“So that’s it?” She asked quietly. “We’re just going to do nothing?”

“We won’t be doing nothing,” Echo said, kneeling down in front of her and squeezing her shoulder. “We’re just playing it safe.”

What if Hemlock didn’t cut off Crosshair’s warning message? And what if The Bad Batch actually listened?

After arriving minutes too late to catch a ship to Tantiss, the Batch plus Rampart touch down on Coruscant to wait for the next one and quickly split up to separate tasks. Finding more time on his hands than he's had since escaping Tantiss himself, Crosshair decides to go seek out a clone he hasn't seen in years: a tattoo artist named Click. Mayday's memory hasn't left him, and he wants to have the man who made such an impression on him be immortalized on his skin.

Move Into the Sun

He did his best to smile, tried to speak in the way that he had when they’d been young and Rex had sought him out in need of gentle reassurance. “It doesn’t,” The words fell flat, devoid of comfort, “It hurts each time you lose someone.”

What he didn’t say was that, when he caught himself thinking for just a moment too long, he wondered if this was better, if pain was better than apathy. A part of him feared that someday he’d simply cease to care, that there’d be too many dead for his grief to hold meaning. He worried, in the privacy of his room when he woke gasping from a nightmare, that he would cease to be Kote if he no longer cared.

Cody dreams over and over of drowning, of unknown waters encasing him. He never quite drowns, and eventually Cody starts to become a man that might survive the war. He realises that once, he might simply have been a child.

Internal Conflict

Damaged after a mission, the Marauder goes down on Saleucami. With the squad in rough shape, and their ship in dire need of repair, Clone Force 99 decide the nearby farm may be their best bet. However, meeting the deserter Cut Lawquane and his family brings up some uncomfortable questions regarding their lives as soldiers.

Field Trip

While on vacation, a senator discovered that Hologram Fun World was showing Separatist propaganda in their attractions. This drew the Republic's eye to HFW and their ability to spread propaganda and store both sensitive Separatist and Republic data. Delta Squad and the 83rd Regiment have been dispatched to HFW to cease operations at the park, arrest their leadership, and analyze their collected data. Delta Squad is to arrest HFW leadership and secure and isolate the target's data stream via their administrative building, the Adminidome.

Hoth

A small group of Torrent Company, including Fives, Echo, Hardcase, Rex, and Anakin, are sent down to the icy planet, Hoth, to distribute supplies for the new research facility there. Their stay is extended as they are informed that a scouting patrol went missing, likely from the cold and lack of supplies. The group splits up to scout out the area surrounding the base. The Domino Twins survey the mountain range alone, and of course, run into trouble as an avalanche is triggered. Echo is badly injured in the aftermath, and Fives is turned around with no idea of which way the base is. They must try to survive the icy plains until they are rescued.
