Observations from my time recording in the Mojave Desert:

The desert mirage – often depicted as water out ahead of someone who is lost. But the concept of a mirage has more to do with objects of our desire conjured by our imaginations when left to their own devices. Anything we choose to chase after can be an illusion, a specter that disappears when we get close. The important thing is to recognize what they are and keep walking.

Surprise new EP out today. These modular synth pieces are inspired by my experience of Great Lakes winters. The tracks first appeared on the Phantom Circuit podcast/radio show in the winter of 2023. I thought it would be nice to have them available somewhere so they weren't lost to time.
