“How can movement be preserved in immobile form? This contradiction in terms has preoccupied artists for millenniums. … Three New York exhibitions catch a dancegoer’s eye for what they tell us of dancers and dance itself.”
The New York Times highlights our current exhibition Edgar Degas: A Strange New Beauty for its radical, innovative works depicting dancers.
