It's so easy to focus on others because dealing with your own shit can be tough. Don't lose yourself & remember to fill your cup first🌻

And always show gratitude to those who helped pour into you when you didn't have the strength to even lift the pitcher. As alone as it may feel at times, remember your community. While some things are meant to be faced alone, there's also strength in numbers💛

...And sometimes you just have to go through it alone. I tend to lash out in various ways when the feelings are just too big, everything becomes a trigger, the loneliness is too loud, happy moments are fleeting, you feel like you're treading water & slowly drowning.....but at the end of the day you ultimately have to save yourself. You did it before, you can do it again.

Reminders to self: Be gentle with yourself. Stick to your boundaries. Remember your worth. It's ok to be selfish. Limit the capacity you extend & revive yourself. Don't shrink yourself. There can be growth in solitude. Practice more gratitude. Tough times don't last. Life is worth living💛

Sometimes your friends need you more than they may let on. It doesn't mean you have to be their therapist, presence can be enough.

An apple & peanut butter for breakfast. Kale & tomatoes, rainbow cauliflower & a vegan basil pesto patty for lunch. An apple for "dessert" lol
