I forgot to make a post about this earlier so making it now.

If you (Or your partner) are NOT familiar with the care of Applin, or dragon types in general, do NOT get one.

The amount of poor Applin that are given away to people who don't know what they're doing is astonishing, and not in a good way.

If you do get an Applin and don't know how to care for it, surrender it at a shelter or Pokémon center that accepts Dragon Types. If you're in Hammerlocke or Turffield, Milo and my gyms also will take them in. Don't feel bad about 'giving away a symbol of someone's love,' because if you don't know what you're doing there's a high likelihood that you'll cause the Pokémon harm.

Do not give any Pokémon you are not prepared to care for yourself away as a gift. It is not as cute as some think it is.

Applin are one of the most easy-yet-hard to take care of dragons there is. They're typically quite shy, which can make caring for one when you aren't familiar with how they work difficult.

Applin eat the apple they inhabit, but because of this they often require a switch of apples. This is not a difficult thing to accomplish for most people, but so many folks don't realize quite how sensitive Applin are to hormones and pesticides and other chemicals. Make sure any apple you give an Applin is free of anything chemical that could cause it harm. Homegrown or from your local Farmers Market is the best option.

so looking more into the report that i heard about, the team Eden leader was apparently sighted in lorobato? which is interesting because before we thought they had fled to pasio… um! either way, its fine by me because i needed to go there w/ professor sine to check on nanuq anyways!!!

AHHH!!! it’s so cold on the reserve >< but the rockruff pups are so cute… im going to be observing their behavior and see how they’re doing in the environment!!!! we come here every once in a while to make sure the artificial cold is still working for them and if any changes need to be made…

their pack leader, nanuq’s lycancicle Terra, is SO PRETTY AND COOL!!!! i missed her so much…. her and small pie get along great despite the type matchup XP best friends

What is team Eden?

ive mentioned them a few times on my blog, but theyre a team that rose in my region a few years back and were manipulating trainers Inyo handing over their mons to be genetically modified. they got into a lot of trouble , especially after it was discovered they created two extremely powerful new mons, and rhe leader went into hiding… as champion its my job to make sure everyone people and pokemon alike are safe, so if theres a sighting I gotta look into it!
