i gotta say, I wasn’t expecting to love plus one as much as I do. it’s one of my favorite releasing books right now (other than blades of course) like I think I like it more than terrorfest which is genuinely surprising to me.

….dont even get me started on bitten though. the characters look so …. off putting idek if i can read it. is the story good? is it worth putting up with the awful character design??

I have to say the first scene in the afterlife got me really emotional and man oh man I wish I was talented enough to draw some parts of it because I need to see it 🥹

It is just so full of emotions : pain, desperation to make sure eachother is truly here, love, relief mixed with all the underlying guilt of what happened in ch1. Beautiful.

My favourite parts are the group-hug with Nia and Mal, so full of worry and desperation to reach each other. This embrace simply feels like tears and pained sighs ending in sobs.

And Tyril capturing MC from the back as if he wasn't capable of talking until he could feel her, maybe making sure she's not an hallucination. I don't know, there's something primal about his first interaction being physical, it's raw, body and soul need to be as close to MC as possible before anything else.

Especially between the OG gang, there is so much love in this scene. In all the time they've been a group they went through countless ordeals. They've been best friends, chosen family and/or lovers for a long time. So now they simply don't hold back showing how much they love each other in this nth plight.

I just really appreciate how it's written, the angst is 😙👌

ok im kinda really digging blades 3 rn even tho we are all quite literally dead. like this is angsty and torturous and im all for it.

mc WATCHED her love and her friends just be killed in front of her, died herself, and now is just ……dead? but still cognizant. I really hope we get some good, deep conversations with our li’s….especially since tyril almost said “ i love you” as he was bleeding out
