The short blonde noticed the sleeping spider, holding his mocha latte in one hand and a stack of missing cat posters in his other. He glanced at the table once more, thinking about whether or not he should walk up and wake him up.

On one hand, its none of his business. He understood that people get exhausted.

Between Christmas cafe sales, preparing gifts, and general household malfeasance, Cris might have not had enough time to rest.

There was still so much left to do. Ramona needed more litter for her cat, so that was extra shifts at the cafe. He would be needed at the cafe anyway because so many people went home for Christmas, and he had to adjust that top for--

Oh, whatever. It would be fine. He can pass by the cafeteria at HQ just in time for that strike mission he has later and be fine. He could even work on the gifts, and grab a coffee!

However, just as the soft breeze of the Nueva York floated against his skin, as he took a nice sip from his hot beverage, and as he pulled out his sewing kit to get to work on the gift...

It's just like something came over him. His eyes started to feel heavy, and his brain started to turn off, maybe it was the last two weeks he hadn't slept, maybe it was... was...

He gave a proud smile, his hands on his hips. "Found him in a rubbish bin outside the store I robbed-" he paused, blinking in realization slowly. "I.. mean.. the store I.. frequent? I hope you like him though!"

Bit she can't deny the younger spider, that would be rude considering the gesture. Was it an odd present to give? Certainly. But that likely wouldn't offend Sunny any less. Outstretched hands move in to retireve the little mammal from his, the creature sniffing at the synthetic skin with wide-eyed curiosity.

She must seem quite trustworthy to be able to handle animals like this if other agents keep giving them to her at random.
