Scamming Within The Self Ship Community (8/2/2025)

This post is about a known user of the self ship community who goes by Tiazyl, owner of the blogs @.xyw, @.mealprepshipping and @.849. After extensive research and gathering of much information, we've come to the realization that this user has been misusing the hundreds of dollars that have been donated to them for their situation. To put it simply, they are scamming people. I, along with a team of a few other users who have chosen to remain anonymous, have created an extensive form of what has brought us to this conclusion. This will be a long post detailing everything the team behind this has uncovered.

I advise everyone who is taking their time to read this post to please understand our reasoning to publicize this information. We hold no intention of bringing harassment or slandering this user's name, especially for any personal reasons or vendettas, as we have no desire to cause harm. In fact, we attempted to have a conversation with this user and allowed them the space to explain the connections we've made, even so, they chose their silence and not to be honest. Our goal was originally to let them come forward on their own, to explain themselves with transparency and what was being done with the money. That did not happen, and at the rate they were receiving donations we concluded that action had to be taken. Tiazyl has chosen to retell their story in different ways that were far too inconsistent with what we know, with what we will share to you all.

And I sincerely ask you all two things before you read. Firstly, do not go out of your way to send any harm or threats to this user. They know what they're doing, the weight of that alone and the awareness of this post should be enough. We hope anyone who has given them any amount may find a way to make a claim, but do not do so in a harmful manner. Secondly, I emphasize heavily that this post is not even the entire extent of Tiazyl's misuse of their donations, we've estimated around a minimum of more than $3,000 dollars accumulated in the span of only 6 months from art of their accounts. That alone is why we are here now, sharing what we have gathered. No one deserves to be in a dangerous situation, but equally so...no one deserves to have their money used wrongfully and to be lied to so blatantly.

With all of this in mind, this post is not another ‘This should have been kept private’ because you will see how more than hundreds of users were affected by this and deserve to know. Please, share this post and reblog it. Any questions had can be brought to me and will be shared with our team, only if you’ve read through everything we compiled and understand why it had to be done.

BELOW WILL BE ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS OF THE SITUATION:

Who is this user?

Tiazyl is a 26 year old self shipper from Canada who has been active on the site from 2023, a user who is currently most known to self ship with Larry from the Pokémon series. From what we are aware, he gathered money extensively through several months for donations towards his situation. He shared his story, shared the details of the abusive household he was in, and further explained his only source of income was through the money being given to him by users of this website.

How were they scamming people?

Although this document expands on it further, Tiazyl began using the money given to them by others with the idea of being to assist his situation, to commissions. Yes, they purchased more than hundreds of dollars in drawings of numerous things such as their OC’s, their self ships and even in merchandise.

We should all be allowed to indulge, and we use our money how we decide, but not with money we promised people would be used to cover any medical expenses and, even more, to escape an abusive home. It’s deceptive, given the fact that they explained their situation to be of urgency and even bringing the health of a pet under their care.

Was Tiazyl lying about their situation?

We don’t believe so. We believe this is someone in a harmful situation who has begun using the money they’ve gathered in impulsive ways. What you’d think would be a few dollars of indulgence quickly became hundreds, and that is unacceptable.

This cycle of gathering money with urgency, yet for them to get a commission a day or two later, It’s clear they cannot manage their money properly, and although we hold no judgment for victims with dependency on things that can bring them comfort during their situation, we also believe in honesty. So yes, we believe Tiazyl needs help in many ways. But we do not condone his actions of lying to people of what he truly used this money for, especially with how he put his pet in danger with his misuse of his savings by not making that his priority.

Victims of abuse can form unhealthy spending habits, this is information by the National Network To End Domestic Violence when we look at the impacts of abuse. Their spending is their own harm, but we've come to realize the harm that has extended to numerous users of the self ship community who took of their time to help them.

How did you gather this information?

We gained most of this through their ToyHouse, by following leads on different websites such as Crepe and VGen. In total, we have more than hundreds of screenshots of an extensive timeline of commissions gathered and expenses made. Still, we chose to share a select amount from the timeline as many other things in the document prove our point.

From the beginnings of February of this year to July, we have gathered evidence pertaining to Tiazyl’s spending and to claims that the money was to go towards their situation. At the time of writing this, all of this can still be found on their pages and has not been removed. If this is to change, we have in the document included clear images (with parts only censored for privacy) of our research and can always implement more.

Additionally, we had a direct conversation with Tiazyl and came to many conclusions from that. From screenshots that he provided himself, to inconsistencies in his story from what we had. Many things he spoke were unclear, but that is the route he chose to take despite how open we were in listening to his reasons.

Why post this publicly?

This isn’t users attacking other users, this isn’t disputes between friends or drama. This is a situation where many people of the self ship community were lied to and deceived, a community who accepted this user with open arms. This is a fraudulence of hundreds of dollars, and though we cannot guarantee every single dollar went to what they needed or to what they secretly spent it on, we certainly have receipts of hundreds towards personal indulgences.

A lot of this is clearly the money gathered from many users donations, given the fact so much he gathered or asked for matches to his personal spending. He used the money trusted to him irresponsibly, money that was used with an innocent care and desire to see him in a safe environment. Many users on this website make posts asking for money, and what one does with their money is their own personal choice. Still, to insist that you needed it desperately only for a vast majority to go into personal indulgences is unacceptable.

People close to me and the anonymous people who worked on this donated and felt lied to, people we are mutuals with and know were lied to. Even those who took from their own situations helped, those who would offer their help to this user in any way. Please, take that detail into severity, we wish for Tiazyl to stop and for people’s money to only be used earnestly. We want this user out of their harmful situation, but we also want honesty and earnest spending of money trusted into that wish.

FINAL NOTES

As a final note, I’d like to give a formal thank you to everyone who worked alongside me through this entire ordeal. We spent days on end handling this with the utmost care, and I value everyone who volunteered and heard us out. This was a big struggle for us, to be aware of this information and some of us even having more personal relationships with this user. It can be heartbreaking, and we cannot imagine how anyone else who reads this may feel.

Please though, never allow this to stop encouraging you to help others and donate to those in need. We did this with the heart of doing what was right to us and for those who deserve to be aware.

And Tizayl? If you’re reading this, despite everything we do not wish to see you in a bad situation nor continuing what you’re doing with this money. Reach us if you wish, reach out for help with what you’re doing. You are not a horrible person, but your actions are harmful to many around you. To yourself. Think about that.

I understand the appeal of wanting every adult hero to instinctively adopt teenage Peter Parker, but can it really beat the hilarity of acknowledging that at 15 Peter was 5'10", unusually buff, went by a moniker with Man in it, wore a creepy full face mask, and had a tightly guarded secret identity and probably a Queens accent thick enough to have come out of a jello mold, and adult heroes reasonably responded to him by going, “Wow, this grown man is an immature asshole for no reason.”

Okay, you need to make sure you play this game at some point. Maybe not today or anything, because you’ll need about thirty minutes and a serious willingness to understand how it works, but - it’s so worth it. It’s basically an answer to our occasional frustration - why do assholes always come out on top? - and the beautiful thing about it is that not only does it explain how that happens, but also how we can change it.
