speaking of content warnings, the other day i saw someone on ao3 saying they don't typically tag 'trans character' on their fics bcos they don't think they should have to provide a content warning for trans people existing which baffled me bcos it never occurred to me to think of that as a content warning as opposed to like, advertisement??

once you recognise the ubiquitous and inevitable fandom life cycle it becomes much easier to free yourself from it and just keep enjoying things in a more healthy way while still thinking critically about them

its fascinating how very very surface level 1920s-ish jazz age inspired aesthetics are very popular (see: hazbin hotel and electroswing and the endless wave of bowtie pinstripe character designs from the 2010s) but the vast vast majority of people who are into that seem fundamentally disinterested in actually engaging with actual jazz age art and culture because that would require engaging with black art

How old would they all be?

One thing I've been trying to figure out is how old all these characters would be if they met.

As I understand it, Amphibia takes place in 2019, and The Owl House in 2020, or is that the fan interpretation, since that is when each show came out.

Some other interpretations see the Hexsquad as being younger than the Calamity Trio, with Sasha being old enough to act as their therapist.

Others, like the crossover panel have Anne and Luz (and thus, the others) being around the same age, with Luz being slightly older than Anne.

But do we have any canon information on how old these characters are compared to each other?
