Idk if this is an unpopular opinion, but I might as well say it as an online artist.
Art style theft is not a thing. It just isn't. It could feel uncomfortable to have people emulate your style, however that does not mean that person is doing anything inherently wrong or nefarious. Everybody who does art is, subconsciously or otherwise, inspired by artists/art before them. And inspiration usually leads to emulating aspects of that art you enjoy, and implementing them in your own creations.
I do it. You do it. Every single artist does it. Please stop excusing popular artists that "call out" people for doing that. I promise you it's not that deep.

You stole the artwork, edited it(without permission) and somehow managed to make it look worse. Nobody in their right mind would pay 999 credits for that sticker, it’s stolen and poorly edited. You have not changed one bit in 4 years. You continuously steal others work and think it’s acceptable because you do a poor editorial job on what you’ve stolen.
* cough, rip off *

I have trust issues
@mack3030
I’ve recently been looking into Sim creators more and the theft of Second Life content via copybotting. Imagine my shocken when I learn that even creators I thought I could trust turn out to be more deceptive than I thought.
I just want to ask…why? Why do this? Why steal? Why lie?
I don’t like being lied to @sonyasimscc

To make a long story short, my art has been stolen by third party companies for profit. Please report them immediately when you see them use/copy my art. More below.

The Butcher Strikes Again
Butch's recent commission
Just explaining why The Butcher trending on Twatter rn. He stole a Japanese artist's fanart for another one of his overpriced commissions and now the artist spoke out against him (in English language, which is a huge clue that the artist is ANGRY & rightfully so).

With Pride month coming up soon, what better time to find out that my original Pride designs are being sold by thieves on Etsy, Amazon, etc. without my permission AGAIN! 🙃
(While I file several reports, I wanna remind y’all to PLEASE double check the seller when you buy anything online that features original artwork! There are countless sites who host store-fronts that are built entirely on stealing designs from actual artists, and it does damage.)
Don’t support theft from Queer creators; buy directly from the source instead ✌🏻✨

Hobby Lobby just released some new yarn designs - unsurprisingly they stole designs by a few different indie dyers, including lemonade shop, who’s been working on her speckled designs and rainbow splash color runs for a while (lemonade shop yarn is left, hobby lobby is right) :
She’s not the only designer they’ve stolen unique fiber patterns from, and the indie dyer community is reaching out to a few more dyers with very singular designs that hobby lobby has also taken, so I’ll try to update the list as I can.
Stolen art is stolen livelihood. Please support artists, small time crafters and creators as you can, and if you recognize someone else’s yarn in the hobby lobby release, be sure to include them and a link to their store. There isn’t much else that they can do to fight this unfortunately.
