What do you think about the Book of Bill?

Okay so I finally finished it!

Spoilers below

I find it funny how they humanized Bill (emotionally) a lot compared to what I'd expect from a cartoon demon, a full tragic backstory.

He has emotional needs that were never met during childhood, potentially causing the disaster personality he has now. Of course, there's severe trauma and no support or help to process his feelings. He pretty much lives behind a mask, enforced by himself, to forget and pretend that everything is fine, and when it cracks he falls apart.

You could perfectly fit a human into that story line, which is really cool. A 2D demon with depth.

Other random thoughts:

Dipper's search history is interesting, you'd think he'd know about incognito

Divorced parents is canon, nice

Wow Bill REALLY cared about Ford

Plansexual.

You, my lady (gentleman, whatever you may choose) have an out of this world art style. While i may have read a past ask to you where the anon said its a bit soulless and you agreed (yeah i can see it too, especially the ai bit), your artstyle is beautiful enough for me. Plus, the ai bit might be because of your style being mostly a capture of a moment in a movie and the expressions being more like an actors expression (and look who loves cinematic art styles ie ME) I hope you understand what I'm saying (I'm rambling cause I accidentally deleted the first message :,) ) but for me, your art style is like a screenshot in an epic or impactful scene in a movie, feels like something out of a camera, it's poetic and symbolic in some ways and it just captures the moment RIGHT (like the feels). I love art styles like those (like yours ~<3)

so yes, you have fricking captured my heart <3
