EVERETT: I'm in love, and it's great. [ heart eyes emoji ]
EVERETT: Everyone needs to be in love at least once in their life. Like, I'm not even playing with you... it's kind of amazing. I love love. Everyone should love love.
EVERETT: Yeah, no, I'm not gonna eat any knives anytime soon. Hard pass on that one.
BLAINE: What a coincidence! I am, too. Who would've thought we'd all be so happily settled down at the same time?
BLAINE: Hah! Good. I'm glad to hear it. [ thumbs up emoji ]

You’re too kind to me. Really. Hopefully, I passed with flying colors. The tests re all said and done, and I’ll be getting my grades technologically within the week, so! Fingers crossed for passing marks. I really don’t want to take most of those classes again.
-- Really? Wow. I’ve never heard of anything like that. It sounds amazing, though. Very, very interesting. I’d love to see it for myself, but I think I might’ve missed the boat. So much to do, so little time, hah. I’ll have to check it out on YouTube, though, if there’s places to see what happens, and hopefully, I can plan some time to participate next year. Or, at the very least, see what it’s about. I’m a big fan of musically inspired art, after all.
You’re sweet, Miss. And I really do appreciate it. My cousins aren’t off the market, as I said! Maybe we’ll have to bring you down to New Haven for Christmas, so you can see for yourself, hah. -- You did? Wow. I don’t know much about the fashion world, but I do know how much of an influence a company like that can have on the industry, so I truly hope you get your chance to shine. I’m sure a large portion of the community won’t complain about getting to see you in some form fitting underwear, that’s for sure. Hah.
From what I know of you. Blaine Anderson, you’re always bringing your ‘A-Game’ to the table so I ain’t even worried. You’ll knock their socks off and leave them begging you for more. Boom bam.
Okay, yes, lemme give you the run down. So basically Unsilent Night is this art project that’s played out through music. This guy has four different pieces of music that he composed and it’s put into little speakers – or an app for your phone that you can download – and each person gets one of the four pieces. The audience basically becomes part of the art. You all push a button at the same time and that’s what makes the music. Everyone starts in Washington Square Park and they all walk in formation to Tompkins Park. It’s really powerful. I didn’t do it last year ‘cuz I was still back home, but I saw a videos on YouTube and it blew my damn mind. I’m so here for this.
Darn. Well, it was worth a shot. I’m just saying that ya’ll have some pretty good genes and it would basically guarantee that any rugrats I have later on in life would be sinfully attractive. Can’t blame a girl for wanting a sure thing, you know? I’m not even ashamed to admit it. Plus, I’m a total catch – I was thisclose to walking in the Victorias Secret Runway this year. Next year is definitely my year though, after all of the connections I made this year. I can practically taste it. God fucking bless.

COOPER: You know what's boring? Public transit's boring.
COOPER: The lady next to me as been telling me about her taxes for twelve minutes.
COOPER: So! Here I am to bring entertainment to the both of us.
COOPER: Do you think you're on the 'good' list this year, Sweet Boy? [ wink emoji ]
BLAINE: Taxes? It's only December! We've got three more months until we've got to worry about that, I think.
BLAINE: However, you're very kind to think of me like this, Sir. A true angel. [ blush emoji ]
( A BEAT, SMILING )
BLAINE: I'm not sure. If I haven't, will you do something about it?

I think ballet covers most of it, as well as some salsa, and a little bit of contemporary. It’s not as simple as swaying your hips -- if it was, I wouldn’t be so worried! All the time I spent dancing in my room three years ago would’ve finally paid off, hah. But, thank you for the well wishes, Miss. I’m certainly going to try my best.
Unsilent Night? I can’t say I’m familiar. I’m definitely interested, though, if you’re willing to explain a little bit. I’ve been so stuck in my room studying that I’m very out of touch with the real world. Help me shed some light on it, please.
-- Hah! Sadly, all the ones you know are the only ones, Miss. There’s a few cousins here and there that’re single, but I think you might be out of luck if you’re trying to marry your way into the Anderson family. Should I try to put in a good word, anyways? I’m sure any of them would be lucky to meet a model, after all.
Now here’s the important question – what kind of dancing are you working on? Because if you’re looking to do a little hip swaying, I’m kind of a natural when it comes to busting a groove. Anything a little more complicated like tap, jazz, or lyrical… well, not so much.
Here’s hoping you can take a break from studying to head out and see Unsilent Night. A photographer on my shoot was talking about it the other day and it sounds kind of amazing. I’m not usually a huge art person but it’s kind of neat how they plan on incorporating people into it and synching everything up. I’m so here for it. God bless New York City in the winter. It’s so different from back home.
Now, tell me about this christmas party… and if ya’ll have any other gorgeous brothers that a girl could land herself. Kidding, kidding. (sort of)

EVERETT: Ouch. [ crying emoji ]
EVERETT: I mean, you're not WRONG, but ouch.
{ a pause }
EVERETT: She's literally the best thing that ever happened to me. Y'know, aside from the Anderclan. I don't know what I'd do without her... like, y'know, in that dramatic 'Romeo and Juliet' kind of way. That's how you know when shit's real, right? Like -- I'd totally eat a dagger for her. I'm not even playing.
{ a long pause }
EVERETT: Yeah. That's the weirdest thing I've ever said. Let's never talk about that again.
EVERETT: You're the best, you know that? I love you, Bee... and y'know, I hope you know that you're gonna be my best man. Yeah? Yeah!
BLAINE: Oh, you know I'm just teasing. [ pink hearts emoji ]
( A BEAT, SMILING )
BLAINE: I believe you. And I've never seen you so genuinely happy before, so I think that speaks volumes in terms of how committed you are. And I'll never stop being happy for the both of you, because I think you really do deserve this. And she does, too!
BLAINE: But.. please, don't eat any knives, all right? [ monkey emoji ]
BLAINE: I love you, too, doofus. And I'm happy to know I beat out Cooper for the Best Man slot! [ confetti emoji ]

.. Regardless of who’s paying it, I can’t say I’m a huge fan of anything bad happening to you. Especially things like that, thank you very much. We’ll save the extreme shopping for when everything goes on sale next month, all right? That way, we can still get good deals, and we can avoid the masses while doing so. Shopping while remaining in one piece is something I’m a proud supporter of, after all. Speaking of, though -- how’s your job going? Do you like it so far? Is the commute to and from the center all right?
I was too busy -- you know that. I only had a few days off, so all the time that wasn’t spent eating and talking with Mama and Dad was spent studying. Cooper tried to help, but... I think he’s more a distraction than anything else. I’m on official quarantine for another nine days before I’m finally done and free to enjoy the city in December.
Dude, people are crazy.
You’re the real hero, Bee. I’m sorry, but like… nothing’s gonna make me risk my life just to get a computer for a little less money. It wasn’t so bad back home, y’know, I could roll in at three in the morning and grab my laptop without having to worry about someone’s nails tearing into my arms and going for the jugular. Fuck that noise. I don’t have time. Although, now that I’ve got health benefits and shit through work… man, someone could claw the fuck out of me and the government would pay to stitch me back up. Isn’t that cool? Man, that’s so cool. Being an adult is weird but kind of has its perks.
Did you get any cool swag this year during all that Black Friday madness, or were you too busy hunkering down and getting ready for finals? I always forget that people are doing actual school on top of the stuff we’re doing here and like – man, kudos to that. I’m barely managing to work all the time and making it to the two whole classes I’m taking. Seriously, Bee. You’re a hero.

I suppose it just comes back around to the debate of Baby Boomers s. Millennials, and what we’re expected to be doing versus what we’re actually doing. Shying away from all the great opportunities that fall into our laps isn’t how you progress, and sometimes, the ‘old fashioned way’ is outdated because of it. There’s nothing wrong with that -- I just prefer to get my knowledge in the best -- and most inclusive -- way possible. Plain and simple.
You haven’t figured out how to watch TV while you’re asleep? For shame, Sir! Hah -- I’m only kidding, of course, but still. I didn’t take you as the reality TV sort of person, regardless of if it serves as background noise or not. I imagined some Mozart, or Beethoven.
I completely agree with you. It’s usually older generations and more… close minded individuals, that tend to shy away from incorporating the topics into their lessons. If you ask me, there needs to be some kind of precedent set in the coursework itself to ensure that nothing is being skirted over. There might not be one now but that won’t be the case for very long.
The thing about watching something that isn’t exactly intellectually stimulating is that you don’t have to focus on it. Therefore, I can have it playing in the background while revising my notes or reviewing possible internships for next semester. It’s pivotal to my multitasking process… which, unfortunately, I’ve not figured out how to do while sleeping. I’m good but I’m not that good.

Well, excited is better than most things, so I’m sure your professors are glad to hear it. What kind of classes are you taking? Do you have plans to pursue a degree at the center?
Thank you, Blaine. It is, yeah. I’m actually really excited which may be why I needed all that sleep I’m like a four year old on a sugar rush when I’m excited.

EVERETT: I'm glad you like her, Bee -- that's super important to me, too. I know I've dated some... uh, questionable, people before... but she's the one. Like, I can feel it. I just know, y'know?
EVERETT: Hah, let's not get too crazy... we're still like... training adults, y'know? I don't think we're gonna skip down the aisle anytime soon. We've got time!
BLAINE: If I had a dime for every time I've heard you say 'she's the one', I'd be rich by now. But -- this time -- I think you might actually be right. She's very kind, and sweet, and she makes you happy. That's all that matters. [ smiley emoji ]
BLAINE: Oh, c'mon. I was just /teasing/, anyways. I'm just really glad that you're confident in this. And I wouldn't support you if I didn't think it was the right thing to do.

.. I think Miss Noel is definitely your best bet. Pitting her against Everett would just be entertaining, anyways, since they’re two of the most competitive people I know. And, when all is said and done, I’m sure she’ll make us hot chocolate, too! I’d offer, but I’d end up burning the pot in the process. I’m not too skilled when it comes to things in the kitchen.
I have a feeling I’ll need to bring backup. Maybe I’ll ask Miss Noel, she seems like she’d be pretty fierce in a snowball fight. I’d bring Gia, but she’d take both of you down and then turn on me for the hell of it.

As someone who’s been out and about during that madness before, I’m glad to hear you came back relatively unscathed. If all people who liked pizza were as dedicated as you and Miss Noel, then I’d have something to worry about. But, for the most part, people were too busy fighting each other for new Macbook’s, or something like that. The mall is a scary place to be, Ev.
Dude, people are crazy.
So I’ve never actually had a real job during this whole ‘black friday’ thing, but man – people go insane over deals, don’t they? We didn’t even have anything that great, really, just 25% off pizzas and pasta dishes… but damn, we were lined out the door basically from open to close. Like, I love pizza as much as the next guy… but I’m not gonna wait 25 minutes for a table just to save a couple bucks. Nope.
But as busy as my day was, it definitely worked out in my favor ‘cuz oh man, did we ever make some mad money in tips. Plus, it’s not as bad as working somewhere like Walmart or something… I don’t envy those guys. Some chick at the back table was talking about how some old lady got knocked over in the towel aisle and they had to call an ambulance. Talk about extreme shopping, right? I’m glad I sat that one out.

Thanksgiving, over all, is a bit controversial n terms of what we’re celebrating, but I don’t mind the fact that it’s a chance to pend time with your family, and loved ones. Plus, the food spread is always something to look forward to as well, especially when my Mama’s the one in the kitchen.
I’m glad to hear you enjoyed yourself, Isabelle. As for me, I went back to New Haven with my brothers to see my family, and it was certainly time well spent.
I hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving. I’ve never experienced one before so just seeing it in America was wonderful. I didn’t do much of anything myself but I still enjoyed it. What did everyone else get up to?

Had I known you would’ve been on your own all day, I would’ve brought you along to New Haven. The Anderson Thanksgiving Dinner is open to everyone and anyone -- within reason, of course, but you would’ve been just fine. I’m gad to hear you had a good time, though, and I’m glad you managed to make the most of it! What kind of foods did you cook up, if you don’t mind me asking?
This was my first Thanksgiving alone, I usually have friends over, but they were busy this year. So, I made all the traditional fare while I watched the Macy’s parade, and then stuffed myself on turkey and sweet potato casserole. Now, I have so many left overs I won’t have to cook for, like, a week. If anyone’s hungry, lemme know.

It’s crunch time at NYADA. With the Winter Showcase officially behind us -- those performances were awe inspiring, if I’m allowed to speak so freely -- it’s finals, finals, finals until the 18th. As of right now, the only thing I’m truly worried about is my dance final, seeing as I’m still not 10% content with what I can do. However, practicing every day is truly the only thing that’ll keep my mind settled, so empty rehearsal rooms might become my new home for the net two weeks.
I also hope everyone had a good holiday last week. A quick trip back to New Haven was in the cards for me, and my lack of activity online can be put entirely on my Mama for making the most delicious meal I‘ve had in months. (Not that Cooper isn’t a good cook, of course, but -- you know what I mean). Every day that passes in December is one day closer to the annual Anderson Christmas Party, too, so I’m very much looking forward to the end of this crazy, hectic month.

It’s all I’m used to, honestly. And that doesn’t mean it’s any better than anything else, either because I’m sure an intimate setting with your close loved ones is just as wonderful. It’s just about being with people you care about, regardless of the setting. -- He said that? Oh, no. Maybe take your brother along, so someone’s there to be a designated.. walker, or something, hah.
Me, too. They come to the city all the time for business, so I doubt that they’ll be against a visit sometime soon.
Aww, it does sound like a good time. I’ve never had large family gatherings like that so I can’t possibly imagine all the shenanigans that go down. I did yeah but it was only for a few hours in the afternoon. I went out for a few drinks and I actually got tipsy. It felt so strange. James says he wants to go out drinking with me to “get shit-faced.” Oh boy.
He seems like a really cool guy. I hope to meet him someday, hah.
