I’m at the fallout fan celebration in Goodsprings with some friends cosplaying as their Courier OC and Benny respectively, and last night while waiting for our shuttle bus back to our cars, it got super cold (bc it’s the desert), and we didn’t kno how long it’d take til the next bus arrived. Even with our multiple layers on, we still felt pretty chilly (forgot gloves lol).

BUT nearby we saw someone with a campfire and tents all set up, so we decided to approach and see if they’d let us use their fire to get warm.

Lo and behold, it was none other than PAPA KHAN HIMSELF and a few other wastelanders 😭 (idk if they were also khans)

I asked if we could stand by their fire and they happily offered us chairs to huddle up. One of them came up and also offered us rice, beans, and chili that they had just cooked. I gladly took some bc I forgot to eat lunch and felt soooo hungry 🥺🥺🥺

This whole interaction felt like it could’ve easily happened within New Vegas. Everyone passed the time laughing and exchanging stories about their time at the celebration while eating and drinking.

A few buses did show up but we decided to stay a bit longer by the fire. I feel so grateful for these lovely Great Khans/fallout fans and will definitely remember this for a long, long time 🥺🥺🥺🥹🥹🥹🥹
