Early Look at the Skate Like a Girl x Nike SB Dunk Low
In today’s sneaker game, if you aren’t participating in collaborative projects then it can certainly be difficult to garner some recognition. Labels such as Nike SB have mastered this strategy over the years and continue to impress sneakerheads both old and new alike with exciting projects, and the latest to surface onto our radar is this impending Dunk Low team-up with Skate Like a Girl — a nonprofit organization that strives to “create an inclusive community by promoting confidence, leadership, and social justice through skateboarding.”
For the entity’s collaborative offering, it opts to engineer the upper halves with suede panels. Overlays and laces match up as they are both dressed with a wine-like red, while off-white contrasts come through the collars, quarters and toe boxes. Swooshes deviate from their usual leather constructions and instead arrive with pleated textures and rosy red exteriors and the heels have been ornamented with a graphic that depicts two hands that are pulling each other up. Skate Like a Girl’s official logo is found on the tongues with an upside down Swoosh and the insoles have been treated with an array of girl skateboarders in hand-drawn fashion.
No official release date for this pair is known yet, but we’ll likely see these hit the market in the coming months.

Take an Official Look at the Nike Dunk Low "Ocean"
The Dunk Low has been Nike’s go-to sneaker as of late with a wide range of new two-tone and special-edition introductions. The latest colorway to arrive is dubbed the “Ocean” featuring an interesting blend of materials and patterns to encapsulate the idea.
The upcoming Nike (NYSE:NKE +0.31%) Dunk Low appears in White tumbled leather uppers with Teal rough-textured overlays resembling the dynamic surface of the ocean. Circular ripple patterns adorn the tongue tag and insoles, and additional branding accents are found on the Nike-embroidered heel tab. Below, a crisp White midsole and marbled White and Blue rubber outsole complete the unique look.
Take an official look at the Nike Dunk Low “Ocean” above, and expect the pairs to arrive in the coming months at Nike’s website and select retailers for $100 USD.
