[00:00] changbin doesn't always smile; he never did. it wasn't that he's too emotionless or he doesn't have a heart to do it, it's just that he doesn't find any valid reason for him to smile at.

if he's happy, he just nods; but not a smile curving up from his lips. if he thinks something's funny, he just chuckles; but not a hearty laugh coming out from his lips.

so one day you asked him, “hey changbin! why do you not smile?”

“is there a reason to?” he replies.

you pout at his bluntness, but flashed a toothy grin afterwards. “because smiling is fun!” you exclaimed, widening your smile. your cheeks puffed and your eyes made little crescents like shapes with crinkles on the sides.

he thinks you're beautiful, but you're more beautiful — no you're ethereal, an art, something so precious like an exhibit in a museum that he shouldn't be tempering with — when you smile. so he kept his gaze low, not sparing a glance at you.

“also, smiling is not just about being fun, happy, or whatever — it also eases your pain or hide them,” you added, voice subtle.

he then looks at you, a sincere smile on your lips. it was different from your usual one — cheery, toothy, bubbly; it was more calm.

he just kept on staring at you, unable to utter any possible words. silence. it's okay, you loved comfortable silence too; until... the bell rang.

“ah! what am i saying gosh,” you slapped your cheeks then smiled widely at him once more. “bye changbin! see you at our next class!” and you went away.

his eyes were still glued onto you.

you, who smiled at someone wider and you seemed happier to see them, than you did to him; that someone, who happened to be his best friend, felix. that's right, you're dating him.

he always knew this moment, why he doesn't have any reason to smile at all.

why would he? but he wanted to, at least just a little bit, he tried to, for you; but he guess, nothing will change.

he liked you, so what? it's not because of your smiles, but it was because of who you are. you kept on smiling despite of any circumstances. he envied you with it, but it also made him like you.

even if he smile, will anything between you change? no.

so changbin didn't smile, because he had no reason to.

Stray Kids Bang Chan’s Promise to Struggling Fans is Making Everyone Feel Incredibly Emotional

With a single promise to help every fan who is struggling, Stray Kids‘ Bang Chan has left everyone feeling very emotional.

Stray Kids have always shown they care about taking care of their fans. Not only do they show this in person, but they’ve also done it time and again through their songs. With their music touching on everything from depression to following your own path, Stray Kids have already touched many hearts with their thoughtful and honest lyrics. But they even go beyond their lyrics!

Stray Kids have proven that they’ve still got a whole lot of heart to give to anyone who is struggling. Bang Chan recently held a livestream session and at the end of the stream, he played Coldplay’s “Fix You.” As the song played, Bang Chan seemed lost in thought for a moment before speaking what was on his mind. He started off by telling STAYs that they could always come and talk to Stray Kids.

“You know, whenever any of you guys are having a hard time, feel depressed, or have a lot on your mind, I just want to say it’s okay to come to us. Come to us, to me, to Stray Kids and tell us how you feel. — Bang Chan”

Then he promised they would always be willing to listen to any of their struggles…

“Tell us what you’re feeling. Cause, you know, we have ears to listen with. We will listen to you guys and no matter what, we will try to help out with what you’re going through. - Bang Chan”

Before making a promise to help in any way they could.

“Because I think that’s one thing that Stray Kids can agree on. We will always try to fix you. So if you guys have anything just come find us. We will help you out. We’ll at least try to help you out! - Bang Chan” 

As soon as STAYs heard his heartfelt words, they were immediately overcome with emotions and poured out their own love for Bang Chan and the rest of Stray Kids. [7:52AM] “y/n? y/n, wake up you sleepyhead, wake up!” chan knocks on your door, attempting wake you up from slumber.

you groaned, covering your ears with your pillow and snuggled deeper into your bed. “five. . . more min. . . utes,” you mumbled, soft snores coming out from your mouth.

chan sighs at this and opened your bedroom door without your concent. he then jumped over to your sleeping figure and hurdled you up in his arms. “hey y/n bub, we're gonna be late for finals, wake up dummy,”

you hummed, half asleep, and your eyes still are closed. you wrapped your arms around his neck thinking as if he was your pillow and nuzzled your face on his neck.

chan chuckled at this and swooped you up, carrying you bridal style, then he dropped you on your bed abruptly. you yelped at the sudden impact, which made the male laugh. you glared at him and threw a pillow at his face, “i really hate you,”

“i swear babe, you don't ‘cause i woke your ass up; by the way you still have 30 minutes to prepar—”

you didn't let chan finish as you hurriedly went up and fixed yourself. he chuckled and shook his head, “remind me why i love you again,” he says to himself.

[00:00] imagine felix saying fluttering words at you in class and you can't help but get flustered by this. he then asks if he delivered the lines for your play properly. oh right, you're in drama class.

“on the second thought, you got me there but yeah, you did amazing,” you say casually, as if regarding the tickling sensation in your belly.

“hmm really?” felix smirked, wiggling his eyebrows in the process. he then walked towards you, then you stepped backwards until you felt the wall on your back. he pinned you on the wall and whispered, “i like you,”

“h-huh?”

“rate my acting babe, from 1-10 how bad boy am i? do i fit the role?” he then asked you while giggling. oh boy, this is going to be a long class.

[00:00] you haven't realized that you had your camera flash turned on when you tried to take a pic of him secretly, until minho winces from the sudden light from your phone. you let out a squeak and your eyes as widened as saucers.

he smirked and walked up to you then he stole your phone from your grip. you just stared at him nervously, not knowing what to do. then he posed as if taking a selca, then did something on your phone before giving it back to you.

“next time when you wanted a photo of me, just tell me directly,” he whispered into your ear and winked afterwards.

your face flushed tomato red and you melted like a puddle at this. when he was gone, you looked at your phone to see minho was saved as the lockscreen and homescreen.
