Shining a light on “unfavorable” placements. pt.1

Within astrology, I notice a lot of people addressing only the dark sides of dark placements. These placements being considered as unfavorable and or “unfortunate”. However, tougher aspects/placements are generally considered to be gifts, though they are challenges, I see them as direct callings on what allows the individual to reach success. I am not a professional but these are patterns/observations I make from personal experience and life all around me. Now buckle up, this’ll be a long post, I’ll be discussing only planetary/object placements, next part will be aspects however, less descriptive.

12H & 8H Suns and Moons

12H Suns are considered to be unfavorable however, this placement is actually a gift, though the sun is “shadowed” in this area; individuals with 12H are actually here on a mission, though it is bleak to see, individuals with this placement have power and it’s not even locked potential, it’s just power that they cannot see themselves but naturally exude. 12H suns are directly connected to the subconscious, they have this “one foot in one foot out” approach to reality, they are immensely creative and are gifted with compassion at early ages, though they don’t realize it, they tend to be ahead of the game in the early stages of life

12H Moons; these individuals are given heavy emotions, probably even a transformative connection with their mother, their emotions is where their spiritual knowledge lies, they have strong intuition and are the true empaths of astrology. Next my lovely Sagittarian Mercuries. Being Cadent Dominant in my learnings is considered to have most of your placements within the 3H, 6H, 9H, and 12H. In addition, in case you don’t know, cadent houses are the houses further away from the angular houses and after the succedent houses, they tend to be where the most work has to happen are seen as challenging placements to have. Now, these individuals are smart as fuck, for lack of a better term. They are gifted with an inner drive, a drive that not many people will see or understand but themselves, these individuals have the power of moving masses. Though their efforts are indirect, they tend to hit people when it’s least expected–driven, misunderstood and powerful. 3H placements are well versed in communication, 6Hers know how to get shit done, 9Hers and 12Hers are mass movers and the backbone influencers. Having these placements indicate someone important, possibly even beyond a metaphysical sense. They don’t stop until they win and their perseverance is remarkable just as their lives are.

Saturn/Uranus/Pluto Ruled or Dominance (etc.)

Talk about “fuck around and find out”, these indivudals are like the older or even the middle children in astrology, many people with significant Pluto/Saturn/Uranus in their chart, this includes being ruled(MC & ASC), having it as a dominant planet, placed within the 1H, or aspecting Sun/Moon/Asc–tend to be protected like crazy. They tend to go through a lot of inner struggle and tend to constantly have something to work on, it’s like once they’re done with one lesson they’re given another. It’s like being stuck with chores all day and you’re finally done with your last one and once you’re about to step outside or go to your room to lay down, their parents call them and ask them to do something else and the cycle goes on lol. These individuals are resilient and are hardworking, they’re unique and nothing generally gets past them, you fuck with them, you’re fucking with their team as well, and best believe the universe is ready to dish back what you sent in tenfold; this even applies to the individual, but they rarely fuck up cause they know how it can get everytime. Gifted with power, control and drive, these individuals are goal-oriented, they don’t let anything get in their way and if there is even a slight indication of a distraction about to occur, they shut it down real quick. Saturn in Angular Houses (1H, 4H, 7H, 10H) and HM: 5H.

To start, Saturn in the 1H, these individuals are constantly met with lessons that have to do with their identity, they will be put in situations where they are physically limited and their identity is limited/restricted, these people will obsess over themselves and hold themselves to a high standard. However, even through this, these individuals not only directly have karma on their side, but they are ultimately gifted with a deep knowing of self, they build their identity and it is a literal weapon to anyone who brings murky intentions into their world, simply because of how resilient they are and how much they worked through restriction in the past.

For Saturn in the 4H, they may have had issues that involved restriction with their family, this is heavy because they sat through that for their entire lives, up to 18 and possibly even further than that. These individuals weren’t able to make a house a home or generally find a proper home. In their older years, they work with this energy to make a place for themselves and others, they have the power of compassion and comfort.

For Saturn in the 7H & 5H, these individuals are known to have tough luck in love, relationships are rare and if they have many relationships, they are often restrictive and unsatisfactory. They may struggle additionally with their sense of worth and bear a false outlook on love. However, in some moments in their younger years and in their older years, they possess deep knowledge on love, they seem to take it seriously and their love is rich, they are gifted with deep compassion and the ability to be long term with other people. These placements tend to fit in a similar category, they are often scarred with themes that are prioritized in life; Money, Fun, Transformation and Community. They tend to see others experience joy and balance within these themes however, they find that this is the source of their trauma and unhealthy codependency that they desire to break away from. Ultimately, these individuals are gifted with strength and influence, they are creative, influential and open-minded when conflicts are properly addressed.

pisces suns always have this karma mindset. some people often confuse pisces suns as step-overs, but these people are always trying to spread hope and good into the world. they usually get all the good coming back to them in some way. for them it pays off to give unrequited favors, love, etc. makes sense since pisces rules over the 12th house and that usually represents our psyche and our association with present-past-future.

Taurus placements usually have a big sweet tooth. They love carbs as well I notice.

On the other hand I notice Aries placements really love spicy foods (especially Aries suns). They are the types to always get the hottest sauce they have on their food. My Aries friend told me she “enjoys the pain of spice” (very Martian lol)

Scorpio moons get mad when you ask them too many questions 😭 if they aren’t ready to tell you you won’t get nothing out of them, they will dodge your questions every chance they get.

Venus in Cancer & Libra are the most committed out of all the Venus signs I notice. Once they like you they are already planning the wedding in their heads 😂 these women were made to be wives fr!

Aquarius moons are so ethereal, they have this unique glow to them that’s super captivating (ex; Marilyn Monroe). They are all just so beautiful.

Capricorn risings are super hot! Their nonchalance makes them more attractive and magnetic. A lot of people with a Capricorn rising have a Neptune in the 1st house which adds to their appeal a lot!

Mars in the 8th house people usually have had a bad experience with sex early in life. Many could be hyper sexual because of trauma 🙁

Your mars is way better in a fire/air sign than in a water and earth sign. Aries imo is the best sign you can have in your mars. Even though people talk about Scorpio & Capricorn being one of the “best” I have to disagree 😭 Scorpio mars have great drive but I feel like their emotions 9 times outta 10 get in the way of them accomplishing a lot, their feelings are usually super hard to control. Also Capricorn I just feels like moves way to slow for mars quick paced nature. There are another element related to karma but this is one of the strongest, knowing what's in this house we can learn more about who we were in our past life and what kind of lessons we have to interiorize in this incarnation.

The 12th house is opposite of the 6th which rules our conscious arousal. So the 12th rules our unconscious arousal and things that turn us on secretly. That being said the 12th house is what we come into this world already knowing and gifted to us from the previous life. This house also governs our karmic energy and trials we must overcome in this life so to speak! Having planets here can often be a blessing and curse as often in the early years it shows much emotional and spiritual awareness but also a fear to utilize and trust this as you get older.

The 5th/9th and 11th house and your expression/philosophies and dreams:

As no surprise your 5th house is your house of expression it’s how you go about doing things that make you “happy” this is where you go to brainstorm and how and what inspires you. Ironically being the house the rules your newborns this can also mean your children can be your source of inspiration. Our 9th house governs universities/college/basic training or military/our travels to foreign lands away from home/ our belief Systems or the lack of them. This also rules over our morals and how we deal with others in regards to said morals. If we have Jupiter we may hold a more higher standard to open minded thoughts and “trust” while Pluto here may indicate a more heated relationship with privacy and holding control and depth above all else when it comes to morals. Our 9th house can also show how intensely or loosely we grip to our religion or spirituality or what teathers we must relinquish in order to delve into our spirituality or 12th house.

Our 11th house rules our friendships, it’s our organizations and our more communal aspects. This is how we relate to groups and or more friendly and detached interactions and vice versa. This house and it’s condition can tell us is we’re friendly or if we’re loners. It can speak on the nature of our friendships and whether or not we’re the types to seek friendships for healthy reasons or bad reasons. The 11th house also rules our dreams and the condition of said dreams! Wether or not we follow them and the lengths we are willing to cultivate them. A strong 11th house is often a sign of a “leader”

The REAL YOU(3rd/4th House):

The 3rd house governs communication, our neighbors and our siblings. This is the house that rules are mental process in a more grounded and cerebral sense. This is also how our voice comes/ how we talk. While the 2nd rules the tone of our voice. The third house can tell a lot about how we process information and also about the types of circumstances surrounding our descision making! We might be people who need time to make a choice and usually are slow to come to a conclusion if we have “Taurus” in our third. Or we might be brash and impulsive when it comes to choices if Aries rest on the 3rd. The third house also speaks on our siblings and the relationships with said siblings! Wether they are blurry and undefined with Pisces here or unpredictable and lacking in grounding if Uranus is present.

It’s our early conditions growing up and speaks a lot on pre-conditioned behavior. The third house plays a huge role into how we as a people interact and contemplate on what we do and how we do it. If we’re stubborn or passive and so on.

Our 4th house is our home life, it’s us at home and our soul nature. It’s often the way we handle our emotions in the comfort of home and how our family upbringing or dynamic tends to be like. This can often describe the earlier aspects of life at home as well as how we ourselves “really are” stripped down of everything else in our natal chart. This is in a sense our second and more authentic moon sign. This also rules over genes and generational traits that have spanned in your bloodline and can actually give a more concise physical outlook of your family even more so than your ascendant. This is your families history and historical pattern and can often be pre-habitual traits you do without even realizing.

Aries on the 4th:

Might actually be very impulsive deep down and have a restless/brash nature. When someone gets intimate with you or lives with you they see how tenacious and often self immersed you can be at times.
