***Blackface is obviously bad, womanface too*** There are still atrocities committed against women all around the World! Being a woman is not a feeling! Sudanese women commit mass sucides RIGHT NOW to escape rape by the RSF militia! SPREAD THE WORD!

It's crazy to me how the Madonna/Whore complex is very much alive in 2024.
Women still need to be 'nice'. We need to be accommodating and always perfectly well-behaved. And if we are a 'bad' woman, then we deserve the bad things that happen to us.
But men don't need to be 'good'. In fact, bad behaviour is expected from them.
Dworkin said it best:
"Being worshipped (for most women) is preferable to being defiled, and being looked up to is better than being walked on. It is hard for women to refuse the worship of what otherwise is despised: being female...
...One cannot do what men do—not in government, not in the family, not even in religion, not anywhere—and be an example of good."

I remember a French woman who came to me in 1993 and criticized Muslim women for wearing the veil. This French woman had a thick coating of make-up on her face, but she was completely unaware that this also was a veil. The French woman's veil was considered by the global media as modern and beautiful, but the other veil was considered backward and ugly; yet the two veils were almost the same since they both hid the real face of the woman.

feminism is neither dressing half naked nor dressing in a way which covers every inch of your skin. feminism is also not dressing how ever you want to. feminism is liberation.
feminism is dressing how you want to free from the male gaze. it is dressing with the freedom you did as a child.
i used to wear really tiny and/or uncomfortable clothes when i was first easing into feminism. i also used to think women wearing hijabs is a choice which should be respected. until i realised that is not what it is about.
literally my entire wardrobe now is large tshirts from the men's section (much better quality) or slightly more fitting formal clothes which i get stitched.
you know when women genuinely have the freedom to choose what to wear they neither dress half naked nor fully covered. they dress in ways which are simultaneously dignified and comfortable.

This loser positioned himself as a feminist ally supporting DV survivors and still sexually harassed a woman and also tried to destroy her career. Yup! Radfems are always right when we say these males can never be feminists and we don’t want them as our allies!!!!

"I'm pretty with makeup"
"I'm pretty without makeup"
Radical feminism: "It doesn't matter if you're pretty at all. You don't exist to be pretty."
"Female body hair is okay"
"Female body hair is not okay"
Radical Feminism: "Female body hair simply exists and is completely neutral. Talking about whether its 'okay' doesn't even make sense."
"Presenting THIS way makes you a man"
"Presenting THIS way makes you a woman"
Radical feminism: "Nothing about the way you present makes you a man or woman. Gender isn't real."
I love that radical feminism just removes you from so many binaries of thought. It makes them completely nonsensical. Why would I analyze whether I'm pretty when it doesn't matter either way? Why is the acceptability of my body hair even a subject of discussion? It merely exists, just like the bark on a tree. Does society sit around and debate whether a tree ought to be able to keep its bark?
I've come to realize that I've been handed a ton of "either/or" choices about who I am all my life and told to make a decision on each one. And they were all illusions! I just exist. I never had to justify the way I am or even formulate an opinion on it.

I don't run out and make a post every time I see a trans woman in a bathroom and she doesn't sexually assault me. This is because it is unremarkable to not be assaulted by another woman in the bathroom.
If trans women existing were an actual problem to anyone we would be hearing about incidents. We'd be hearing about assaults and attacks. Instead we hear about assaults and attacks against trans women.
Mike Johnson is an idiot and an ass.

Stop hating your womb and making caricatures of your female anatomy being an angry or evil thing that only wants you to be pregnant or bring you pain and start hating:
• The medical industry for ignoring women’s pain and suffering for generations, not putting the same effort into researching the female body as it does male bodies, often acting as though women are simply small men
• Men in history who mass-slaughtered female medical practitioners and midwives, calling their research into women’s health witchcraft
• Capitalism and a male-orientated workforce and education system that fails to consider and factor women’s needs into it’s demand
• Patriarchal disgust for women’s bodies and their functions
• The sexualisation and shame of female bodies to the point where young women cannot seek help for their issues from caregivers/doctors/parents without fear and embarrassment
Yes, periods are inconvenient and often painful, but before you get frustrated with your body, demonising and blaming it, realise it would not be the way it is if not for a mass-scale medical and scientific negligence of women’s issues. Your body does not hate you- patriarchy does. Aim your energy and efforts there.

This should be grounds for a defamation charge honestly. Even if you don’t agree with JKR, this is disgusting.

The first rule about being a radfem: you don't talk about being a radfem (irl).
Misogynistic propaganda is too strong. I remember being a pick me a few years back and finding a radfem blog. I was so curious and perplexed. It was the first time someone criticized men openly. Pointed finger at them. I've read that blog for like two hours and I remember thinking "she's traumatized that's why she's a manhater", "not all men" or just refused to think about some posts.
Ultimately I think that blog planted a seed because later I found out fds and it clicked for me. Then I found femcel/radfem/black pill forum that is now gone.
So in my opinion it's not really worth risking your social standing, friendships irl, people most likely will see you as someone they have to resist so they won't be able to really think about what you're saying. But if you really want to, and know that your female friend you're having calm, constructive conversations with is actively listening to you, thinks about what you're saying, then maybe you can plant seeds, one concept at the time. I don't think it's a good idea to try 180° their entire world view, for example say things like "it's all men" in the beginning. I would also bring up being a radfem later, not immediately.
And don't have these kind of conversations with women that are pick me, who wants to fight over this.
Also don't talk to men about being radfem. You CAN'T change men's views on feminism. This will only waste your time and nerves and they will probably enjoy it and / or think you're dtf because you engage with them for longer than you have to.
something I don't think people talk about enough is how scary it can be to openly be a radical feminist. I've had males telling me that they're going to rape and kill me. men I thought were my friends switch up on me when I share my views. all men want is power, and a woman who challenge their power are seen as a "threat". when males see a threat, they threaten it back. feeling unsafe when openly talking about your feminist beliefs is why we need feminism
