Big round of applause for me every time I post on here, please, because that means I logged in to write some petty and/or angsty vent post and actually resisted the temptation

Takahashi-san! Thanks for the letter. Thanks! Also, I’m sorry we lost it! We’re absolute idiots! Actually, we should be the ones thanking you. It’s the exact opposite! Thank you, Takahashi-san! - Eiga no Osomatsu-san - Mar 15, 2019

psychiatry’s popularity has made complaining about real, material, corporeal problems awful because everyone will just respond to you with “have you tried cognitive behavioral therapy? have you tried coping? have you tried to avoid negative behaviors reinforcing the problem?” like minds have been so thoroughly colonized that we can only understand problems as something internal to the individual, who is also the only one capable of/responsible for lifting themselves out of their problems.
#gpoy#I heard a person once say they hated mindfulness cus there are some bad things you SHOULDN’T peacefully accept and it kinda blew my mind#like yeah you can’t control everything that happens around you BUT you shouldn’t just train yourself into quietly accepting it#(of course this is extremely an ‘I don’t actually practice what I’m preaching’ situation but something I need to work on)#woop

saw an absolutely hilarious animal crossing theory that i now 100% accept and it’s that in the animal crossing world, humans are going extinct, and so all the animals have locked you in an elaborate zoo enclosure and are trying to give you enrichment. and that’s why they give you infinite pointless tasks, hide money in trees and rocks, invented debt that doesnt matter etc. it’s why they always act so happy to see you even after you raze the entire island, relocate their houses twice, and always act so pleased about your choices no matter what. it’s all to keep their little endangered human healthy and enriched. and thinking of it this way has genuinely improved my experience of the game

Things have taken a turn for the worse this Duckvember, with my health failing me to the point of being physically unable to talk from spasm issues. But, with the month closing out, I at least wanted to share some new toonsona puppets I made for future youtube videos.
The befuddled/upset one at the end might be one of my new favorites.
