News - After being considered “lost media” for over 2 decades, a lost Cartoon Network episode of JBVO featuring Dragon Ball Z has been unearthed!

A spin-off of Johnny Bravo, JBVO was a request show where the blond-haired character took call-ins from viewers for cartoons they wanted to see. In one particular episode, a caller named Jennifer requested their favorite episode of Dragon Ball Z, which Johnny agreed to by playing it sped up (since the episodes of JBVO were only 14 minutes long), and gave some color commentary over as well. 

Because this was a request show, episodes never got re-aired. But thanks to an internet denizen named Sanders, who reached out to a Youtuber to say that they were in possession of every episode from JBVO (via their mother who had worked on the show at Cartoon Network), this unique piece of American Dragon Ball Z media has been recovered (with plans to recover the entire JBVO series as well!) 

The full episode has been uploaded to The Internet Archive for preservation here!

For as popular as the idea of a "hivemind" is we never talk about how it doesn't exist in nature. There's no animal colony that connects and controls all its members through a psychic connection. Even bees, the eponimous hivemind, communicate by pheremones and, more importantly, interpretive dance. My point is when are we going to get a movie about an intensely organized alien race that mainly communicates via sick dance moves, why are we sleeping on this.

I drew everyone’s favorite group of Showa-era NEETs just as a little ‘thank you’ gift to everyone in the Osomatsu fandom. Yes, even you! 

It wasn’t exactly perfect sometimes, but I met a lot of cool new people through this silly show & even got closer with online friends I haven’t talked to in months, even years. So overall I’ve had a lot of fun & learned a lot. Thank you!

And here’s to (hopefully) a Season 2 in 2017!!

psychiatry’s popularity has made complaining about real, material, corporeal problems awful because everyone will just respond to you with “have you tried cognitive behavioral therapy? have you tried coping? have you tried to avoid negative behaviors reinforcing the problem?” like minds have been so thoroughly colonized that we can only understand problems as something internal to the individual, who is also the only one capable of/responsible for lifting themselves out of their problems.

saw an absolutely hilarious animal crossing theory that i now 100% accept and it’s that in the animal crossing world, humans are going extinct, and so all the animals have locked you in an elaborate zoo enclosure and are trying to give you enrichment. and that’s why they give you infinite pointless tasks, hide money in trees and rocks, invented debt that doesnt matter etc. it’s why they always act so happy to see you even after you raze the entire island, relocate their houses twice, and always act so pleased about your choices no matter what. it’s all to keep their little endangered human healthy and enriched. and thinking of it this way has genuinely improved my experience of the game
