Going back to my childhood these days and playing Neopets again. Using this also as an excuse to redesign my pets~

Again drew the coworker trio but this time as magical girls.

Was trying to keep their little hero monikers following the same letter for each so I cheated on KK.

We decided to go with a specific aesthetic and animal to influence the design of each magical girl

Masked Mischief = Racoon/CottageCore

Feline Fatale = Cat/RoyalCore

Korvid Karma = Eurasian Magpie/Whimsigoth

I also had each magical girl have a pendant with a jewel to match their outfit.

There is a whisper of a chance that I can join an already established DND group. So, of course, I run with a potential character while waiting to hear back.

I am trying not to round them out too much until I hear the parameters and dynamics of the campaign, but from what my friend was telling me, a rogue should round out their party well.

Going with Stray as the default name until I can start digging into their BG once I know a bit about the campaign and know what would be appropriate for the setting.

Hopefully I didn't put the cart too in front of the horse cause I love this character already.

Been experimenting with drawing different styles for when I lean into drawing more COTL content as I start to play it more.

I am leaning to the more chibified style and am tempted to make stickers of them.

Of course, I had to draw myself as a lamb too since I always draw a version of me in the worlds that take my interest.

Made her based on a Kerry Hill Sheep since the black patches are like an inverse of my Vitiligo.

Now in a Genshin Impact wave for a bit and enjoying drawing myself and my friends in these worlds as a bit of an escape. When creating characters, my friends and I used Vision descriptors to choose which one we would have and then chose the Archeon's ideal that matched with us for our Country. Race was randomized by options within that country and weapon was randomized.

I know most figure drawings are supposed to be nude but I was doing this at work so I did something that still have coverage. I gave myself some rules to focus on self-improvement.

Self-Set Rules:

No undo button

Only draw as you can see without zooming in

No flipping the canvas

Since the reference had dramatic shadows, I wanted to nod to that in the picture.

I should practice with nude models during the weekend in my personal sketchbook tho as I don't often draw nudity.

For this photo, I decided to post a post-WO photo re-draw since working out is one of the constants in my life, along with music and art. Due to this, I also included headphones and my drawsona (Strae).

Let's see, I am supposed to introduce myself, so a bit about me. I am turning 30 this year and I'm stressing a hecka lot about it...so since I'm turning 30, how about 30 fun facts:

I lived in South Korea during my early 20s and am returning there January 2025 (저는 한국어로 말할 수 있지만 자연스럽지 않고 자신감을 없어요...)

I am a middle child/eldest daughter combo

I have 5 tattoos

I am Ace - not sure where on the spectrum - possibly AroAce as I have yet to romantically fall in love

I go by She/They

I am an INFJ

My big three are Scorpio ☼ | Pisces ☾ | Sagittarius ⬆

Although I love DND, I have never been able to find a long-term campaign - only one I joined lasted like 3 sessions since the party didn't vibe

I'm late diagnosed ASD and going through the process of understanding that & restructuring how I care for myself these days

Draw a part of the human anatomy you have trouble with. x20, with atleast 5 being skeletal/musculature studies.

Draw more figures. Quick gestures and silhouettes. x20, with atleast 10 different body shapes

Let’s have some fun. Design a character from either This or This character generator! Be creative and bring something to life!

Pick the weirdest object in your house/room. Draw it. Shadows and Highlights.

Find 2-3 objects, make a scene with them. Draw it. Bonus points for creativity. Double points for dramatic lighting.

Draw a landscape of a place you’ve never been or drawn.

Draw a BG with 1pt Perspective. Negative points if it’s a railroad or an empty street.

Draw a BG with 2pt Perspective.

Look out a window. Draw what you see. Bonus points for adding something interesting.

Draw an interior setting with the character you designed on Day #6 in it.

BG with either bird’s eye or worm’s eye view.

Halfway there! Draw three 'action’ scenes with different compositions in each. Quick sketches are fine, just make them interesting and understandable! Bonus points if it’s the same scene, but different composition.

Draw a single page comic with 5-7 panels (the story begins and ends on one page). 

Draw an animal you’ve never drawn before. x10  Link references.

Draw a car. Negative points for whining. Hint: Use a perspective grid.

Pick an object in your house/room. Now design a character from it, using the shapes, forms, textures, purpose and colors as inspiration. Also link/post the object you used. Negative points for using a humanoid action figure.

Draw a character/object/scene, and shade them using ONLY solid blacks and whites. Bonus points for good use of lights/shadows

Draw a different object/scene/character. Shade using hatching, crosshatcing, and/or pointillism. Bonus points for lights/shadows and textures.

Colors! Pick a color palette, and paint a scene/character/object using only those colors (some blending allowed). Bonus points for good use of lights/shadows.

Draw and color a scene/object/character - no lines allowed! (aka - lineless art). Don’t forget light and shadows!

Draw a scene/character in a style you’ve never drawn before. If emulating an artist, credit+link. Bonus for color style.

Draw a character. Draw 10 emotions/expressions. Bonus points for 'uncommon’ emotions. (i.e. anxiety, guilt, despair, loneliness etc.)

Draw three random shapes using your opposite hand (or your foot). Now design characters from those shapes.

Turn on the tv (or load your illegally downloaded movies). Pick an actor and draw them.

Almost done! Let’s have some fun. Draw some fanart. Bonus points if it’s super obscure and unknown. Make people guess what it’s from.

Last day! Find a drawing you did within the last year. Now draw it again using what you’ve learned! Link it for comparison!

Note: I know technically Changelings are supposed to turn into other people, but for this concept I just had fun and they have their own unique forms~

DETAILS

They have 5 go-to forms: Noah the Human, Nostalinde the Elf, Novel the Tiefling, Note of Worthy the Tabaxi, and Nolfein the Drow; however, they usually present as Noah due to wanting to blend into crowds. No themself is rather calculative and guarded. They worry about how they may be received in their true form. They do present slightly different depending on what form they are in; however, when in a party, their non-human alter-forms are often used when feigning as the spell "Disguise Self." 

Presentations(TDLR): Noah the Human (he/she/they) - As their base form they use, they express themselves a bit more honestly in this form and are a bit more balanced. They are quippy and empathetic. That being said, they will still put themselves and their party first in any situation and will do what is needed to be done to assure safety.

Nostalinde the Elf(she/her) - Nostalinde presents as feminine and carries herself with grace and honor. She presents more lawful than No's other forms and has a bit of a noble air about her. Moreso than her bard class, she leans more into swordplay and could be mis-identified as a fighter.

Novel the Tiefling (he/him) - Novel is more reckless than No's other presentations and leans more into No's cleverness which can cause more trickster-like behavior. Novel is also a bit of a non-committal flirt, so he is always looking for a way out if a flirtation is taken seriously. He leans fully into the more classic bard tendencies and has a strong way with words.

Note of Worthy the Tabaxi (she/her) - Note of Worthy, or NOW for short, really embraces No's curiosity. Now is not very verbal compared to No's other presentations; however, she is adept at observation and is known as being very good at reading the intentions of others which also makes her a caring party companion.

Nolfein the Drow (He/Him) - Nolfein is the manifestation of No's people pleasing tendencies come to full-throttle. He likes to entertain but is very susceptible to going along with other people's need to his own detriment. This can make him a good distraction as he will keep the attention of others, but is usually a form that No will only take long-term when self-destructing.

BACKSTORY

Aly'Wae grew up in a very endearing household with her father and mother being very active in her childhood. Im'Thrae took over majority of the child-rearing so Aly'Wae grew up as a bit of a daddy's girl. As she grew up, it became very clear to her the difference in her parents' respective lifespans as her father stayed looking the same and her mother rapidly aged. Despite this, her father lovingly cared for her mother and would refuse to broach the topic with her.

Now that her mother is in her 70s, Aly'Wae is determined to find some way that her mother's youth can be revitalized and her life extended. For this reason, she left home and started to travel to find the proverbial "Fountain of Youth."
