So I know I’ve been pretty non-existent around here for a bit. Things have been hectic at work (has been put in for a promotion because he’s been busting his ass) and there’s just been a lot going on in general. Not to mention the ol’ head space hasn’t been all that great lately.

I did want to drop in and at least let people know I’m still around. Things are only going to get more crazy for at least the next month or so too… I still want to write, I just need to find a way to get more spoons in the proverbial drawer to pull from though. 

Some of you have me on Discord and I’m honestly usually able to talk more there and can usually get up to a little light RP from time to time. If you’re not on my list and want to poke me, you’re welcome to add me so long as you let me know who you are first. Dusty Qrow#6861 is my handle.

When I find the energy, I will still be replying to things here so if we have something going, it’s not lost. I’m holding on to it, unless you don’t want me to. Just let me know. I’m more than willing to do other things later too if you’re up for it.

Life update...

Dad's not doing well. He is coming home from the rehab center tomorrow to Hospice care which is basically end of life so I'm gonna be helping my mom out as much as possible...

Started new job last week and still at the old one until the end of this month and the hours are kicking my ass. Been too exhausted all around for much and that's not gonna let up any time soon.

Not leaving here though, but yeah I think I need to pull the trigger and say I'm on an indefinite hiatus for now. If you want to poke my discord is Dusty Qrow#6861. I can usually check that semi-regularly.

The universe needs to knock it off… life update.

So as I mentioned the other night, the store I work in will be closing up at the end of October which means I’ll be losing my job. Thankfully, I have at least found something part-time and am going to be starting that before my current store closes. It’s a 3rd shift gig so things are going to be hectic while I juggle both jobs.

On top of this, I found out today that my dad is going down-hill quickly. He HAD been doing better but that seems to have only been temporary. We have no idea how much longer he’s going to hang on either. My family and I are basically faced with the choice of where he’s going end out his life and this is not easy for any of us. 

That’s basically the cliff’s notes version of what’s going on. Needless to say, I don’t know how often I’ll be here or when I’ll be back regularly at all. My headspace has been less than ideal for being around to be honest with everything going on and Tumblr doesn’t always help that. I just… good vibes, prayers, whatever it is you do… if you’re inclined… it’s appreciated.

I’m DEBATING giving RPing on private servers a try on Discord. I know I have trouble keeping up here, but sometimes it’s easier for me to be able to get to things on Discord, especially at work… so I’m wondering if doing it on a trial basis would be good.

For each fandom you rp in, which are the muses you'd like to see interact with you the most? Elaborate if you feel the desire.

Oh wow... okay... I have a lot of fandoms I play in, or at least try to... and I have muses of my own all over the place. 

In the OUaT fandom, I’d say I’d love a Rumple to give my Hook grief the most, but I honestly would love any of the Story Brooke crew to play with. Is it bad I wouldn’t mind seeing what Ruby/Robin shenanigans would look like too?

In the RWBY fandom, that’s a little more difficult because there’s very few characters that I’d want to interact with that I haven’t... but it’s also a matter of there’s a lot that I wouldn’t mind more time with. I’d love my Qrow to have more time with a Taiyang... I think that’s the biggest one I’m craving for at the moment.

In the Starfighter fandom... at this point I’d take just about any I could get... but that is a nearly dead fandom these days. I’m a glutton for Cain/Helios interaction though and since I have both as my muses, I wouldn’t mind someone else with either of them coming to play. I miss it SOOOO much.

In the FMA fandom... wow okay... I wouldn’t mind finding an Alphonse to play with. It’s been SO LONG since my Ed muse had a steady Al and I REALLY miss it. That’s probably the biggest one I have right now.

I would also LOVE an Archie to play my Jughead to from Riverdale... I made the mistake of rewatching it and Jug got LOUD and I just love the dynamic between those two. 

Wouldn’t mind a Meliodus for my Ban in the Seven Deadly Sins fandom... they’re just awesome knuckleheads together and would love the chance to play it. 

For Charmed (original for reference) I wouldn’t mind just finding someone else with muses from the show. So any in that case. 

There’a few other fandoms I play in, but I think that’s enough for the moment. I hope that’s what you were looking for friend :)
