alright, lemme prove a point:
by ‘nap’ i mean being able to fall asleep fully unconscious at some point in the day voluntarily. Not when you’re too physically exhausted to stay awake, ie. after an all nighter or because you have a cold and your body is trying to conserve energy
#yes#however its because of complete and total exhaustion#i cannot (and do not) sleep for more than 2 hours at night#why 2 hours? your guess is as good as mine#once in a great while I'll be awake for about 4-6 hours and get another 1-2 hours but then my kiddo is awake#i usually don't nap either#but if she falls asleep I try HARD to nap#my average sleep in a 24hr period is 2.5 hours#my doctor is horrified but i can't take meds bc i have to be able to wake up w/kiddo#but i also slept like this beforehand too#for years now I've been running on 2-5 hours of sleep a day tops#Hilariously the adhd meds i started ok recently have upped my average to about 3.5hrs a day!#still not enough though
