Thor is your typical spy, who is raised from a very young age to kill and to have no feelings about it. He has killed plenty from rich to powerful; he has switched identities more times than he can count. He is nothing but an executioner who does as his master Odin bids.

Enter Peter Quill, a down-to-earth local cop with a hero complex, protecting his small community of friends and family. Worlds collide when Peter’s simple view of life meets Thor’s harsh experience. Thor pretends to be a man of simple origin, let’s Peter guide him through his small town life. Peter shares with him his love for music, and the love he has for his odd family and for his community. Thor can’t help but fall in love with his pure and brave heart and not mention his quickwit and cheeky humor. Meanwhile, Peter finds himself drawn to Thor’s raw heart behind the cold facade. He knows Thor’s been hurt a lot, although the man is repeatedly vague about his past. They settle down to a blissful routine of mad sex, midnught baths together, wonderful breakfast the day after, going to the movies, holding hands in public and chilling out on the porch with a few rounds of beer between them and a lot of lazy snogging.

Eventually, reality comes knocking in the form of Loki, who conveys that Odin is pissed with Thor’s disappearance. Thor well aware of what Odin is capable of, abandons Peter in the middle of the night. Knowing it is the only way he can protect his beloved from his horrendous past, Thor vanishes, leaving a heart-broken Peter behind.

About six months later, Peter is shocked to find a broken and heavily bleeding Thor lying on his doorstep. Afraid for the man’s life, Peter checks for his pulse. Surprising him, Thor opens his eyes and says, “I’m free, love. I’m all yours, now.”
