just to get this straight — in 6 months of dating buck did not know if tommy was gay or bisexual, did not know he was previously engaged (let alone engaged to abby), did not give him a contact photo, never added him to the groupchat and made him sleep on his shitty couch while tommy didn't know that buck hates basketball, did not know anything about buck’s romantic history (let alone that he dated abby) and didn't know who athena was.

first of all, im sorry it took me a while to respond. i took a break from tumblr the last couple days because i was overwhelmed, and id rather prioritise my immediate mental health than a response that could be written/read any time. and tbh with exams and school and looking at sixth form open evenings i havent looked at my phone much.

genuinely i am a little confused as to where i said i didn’t know any BIPOC people? like i cant find which part of my post said that but ig i can assure you thats not true- i live in a big city and the majority of people at my school are non white

the thing is: i haven’t been in the fandom for months. i joined/started watching the show no more than 3 weeks ago, so i haven’t been around for much or really interacted with most parts of the fandom in depth. so i was basing my post of the limited amount i have seen, but i can see now that i shouldn’t have posted anything when i didn’t have a good idea of what i was talking about. i apologise for that, and for generalising a whole fandom. i know i probably wont be able to convince you, and that’s alright, but i do give a fuck. so im sorry again about the post, and that i made you feel like you had to spend your time and energy responding.

the thing is that im only on season 2, so the only show experiences i have of tommy is the hen/chimney begins- I've seen a lot of stuff abt him in s7/8 through tiktok+tumblr but its not the same as watching him being a better person yknow? You’re def right about hen and chim; they’re the poc, and they’re the ones actually interacting with him, while i’m just watching from an outsider pov. thank you for correcting me and i apologise for generalising a whole community

hi, i really didn’t mean to ignore the people in my notes. The hate in my ask box was the first thing i saw when i opened tumblr so its what i posted about, before i’d even read all the notes on my post. It wasn’t in attempt to victimise myself- it was more an amused comment because while i can see i was in the wrong, opening my inbox to someone telling me to jump off a bridge was clearly disproportionate. Tbh i wasn’t going to dignify that ask with a response but if you want proof it exists i can(i don’t think thats the most important issue though)

and yes, i promise i haven’t been ignoring people. I checked tumblr this morning and again now, but i do have a life and other things i have to do during the day which take precedence. People left long responses and its only fair i also take my time to read and respond to them, and i just don’t have the time to answer all of them immediately. Agatha All Along is really scratching an itch in Television right now and even in its own camp it feels like it's breaking ground. It's a Marvel show but they're using practical effects and not relying heavily on CGI. The set designs and props are fantastic and immersive. There is a musical element but it isn't a musical (but there is Patti Lupone!). Kathryn Hahn is infectiously charming and her physicality in this role is almost TOO natural - her witchy mannerisms feel so authentic. It's queer. It's chaos. It's witches being witches and one potentially lethal fruity Teen committing multiple crimes (breaking and entering, blackmailing, probably perjury, etc.). It's a comedy but it's also a horror movie. This show feels like a genuine treat after a year of generally disappointing television - a palate cleanser for media - I can't wait to see how it wraps up and I'm so glad it's a week-by-week release. All of these actors are delivering in show and as cast members, their press junket has been nothing shy of delightful. The chemistry is really palpable with this group and of course Jac Schaeffer being so invested in this project really shines through on and off screen. I couldn't be more excited for the rest of this series, I need it to sweep because costume design and set design are already leagues above what I've seen this year from other series. The music is perfection and the Lopez's need their flowers NOW. It really is a show that is reveling in what it is and that's magic.

like no hate to his fans, and OBVIOUSLY he must have had a whole mini redemption arc+ apologised to hen and chimney at some point but i guess i’ll just always feel weird about him? His only purpose before being brought back in s7 was being racist/misogynistic in their backstories and idk he would just have been such an odd choice for bucks endgame love interest?

Maybe the redemption arc was rlly good tho
