so. dilemma once more

Since the office kind of relies on quick changing scenes and topics I was going to follow that format especially following the first episode which is confessional heavy as I'm probably going to follow the rough outline of the seasons and it's structure probably not the episode topics themselves with some exceptions

but it doesn't really work well on paper so I either make this a fluid fanfic (please do not ask this of me.) that's longer or I go along with short bits and frequent scene changes in true office fashion which would really satiate me and my writers block

Also so weird having them in a professional setting because like even the office was mildly normal in the pilot so I'm also keeping true to that like.. is this even character accurate or am I going off the walls I was watching like three things last night trying to figure out where to begin

hey who's ready for another stupidly long post but this time its about the goth kids??? ii think lets start off with Michael i do not see a lot of fanart or acknowledgements of him being wasian then again im not sure i'm too deep into the goth kid side of the fandom for that so my apologies if im wrong here.. but on that note he is wasian, we do see his dad with curly hair but i think it's much funnier that 1. he either gets a perm or 2. he wakes up extra early to curl it every morning. to me he is 100% trad goth, the fits, the makeup all of it. I think maybe he leans more into 1980s trad goth, and his make-up wouldn't be as extravagant as some trad goth makeup if that makes sense?? not as heavy. i think he'd thrift a lot of pieces, it's the best place to find those old vintage outfits, good for cheap trench coats which is a STAPLE in his wardrobe. Definitely shoulder pads and going for that sort of triangular silhouette. i know he's listed as edwardian gothic in his wiki but i just feel like... 1980s trad trust me wink face. Going next to Pete his outfit is a little fancier just going based of the bolo tie because um... so i'm kind of swapping the fashion here and saying Pete kind of leans into a more victorian kind of goth, once again maybe less fanciful seeing as he's only 10 or however old a fourth grader is. More button-ups with frilly sleeves and like frilly necklines, like a vampire but dont you dare. ever EVERR imply his fashion is vampiric. I do, like all of the other kids, believe he does take a lot of fashion from trad goth though of course. I think he already wears platforms?? I'm not sure whats going on with his shoes but i think he wears them eitherway. Big teased hair, always looks like he's mildly balding when roots come in but it's not as bad as it would be if he was blonde. Henrietta im so avoiding firkle... ANYWAY!!! Henrietta, trad goth makeup BUT i think she'd lean more into romantic goth fashion, big sleeves and long dresses with lots of jewlery. She has that pretty extravagant trad goth makeup that Michael doesn't do, white base heavy eyeliner (this is despite her character being the only one to actually not wear eyeliner..) but you know!! the works!! we already see her with colored lipstick so i think she'd continue to use the funky colors on her lips. Henrietta for sure rocks a bats nest and soo so much of that got2b hairspray, like that is STAYING in place. not budging at all. firkle... i know he's considered to be the most goth out of them but he's also like 5 years old??? I don't know if he'd really delve too deep into any category BUT trad goth. A much more casual approach to it though becauese again he's 5!!!!!!! he probably uses his moms makeup and has like eyeshadow on his lips. Either that or he got one of henriettas old purple lipsticks. his PC design is definetely way more hardcore, like full of tattoos and piercings so i like to believe he constantly rocks fake tattoos and like those little glue-on balls.. that'd be cute. I'm not so sure it'd be easy to thrift trad goth clothes for little little kids so i'm guessing he has a lot of like normal looking clothes that are just black or got onesof his parents to do diy stuff. dont know but he's probably the coolest kindergartner in the world. absolutely gives himself stick and pokes and piercings in the school bathroom. im more scene myself but have really been getting into 1980s trad goth lately and have always been in the goth space .. maybe I AM firkle

I don't really know if people are complaining about it but I like when I see people talk about how they see teen Stan and Kyle designs and think it's Matt and Trey fanart. because it's so funny to me because like 1. It IS just their self insert, but also 2. Have u looked at their PC designs and then looked at Matt and Trey?? irs just them .. I think that implies the accuracy of the boys looking like them when they were younger

people are always like kenny would grow up to be a smoker kenny would do HARD drugs NO!!!! Kenny would not. kenny grows up to be a scientist... sure the average teen who smoked once or drinks during parties or whatever but. Look at his parents. Why would he want to become THAT??? He started working at what ten years old to prove his dad wrong? He would want to become a safe space for Karen as well. Sure he probably has a disposition to addiction, was probably a meth baby (if they didn't address this in that epiosde i can't remember) so like. why would he go through that himself when he has seen first-hand from everyone around him what addiction or drugs/alcohol does to a person. his parents, the homeless people who cook drugs in his garage?? um... he WOULDN'T!!!! this is my professional opinion. that being said my other professional opinion regarding the main four is that it would be Stan if anyone. he grew up already drinking and yeah he hated weed but bad timeline yk his mom (his BFF. trust.) and his sister died and he hates his dad and he had no friends so what else do you do?? You smoke weed . he lives on a literal weed farm he would have the biggest and best oppurtinity plus his dad wouldn't be like NO!! his dad would be like Yes son smoke the tegridy weed, randy hates that stan doesn't in the first place. kyle is straight edge and a loser i fear. he had like acid once right?? never again plus his parents would FLIP especially sheila. and he would wanna set a good role model for Ike. i feel like maybe a drink or two before he's out at a party, he's got to be the responsible one and has to keep an eye on his friends nobody else would i think kenny would keep a good eye on people too not as enforcing as kyle would be though. more-so a suggested "you should slow down man..." ykwim!! um idk about Cartman but he sells vapes to kindergartners he's still doing that stuff, he's selling vapes in between like fourth and fifth period in the bathroom idk about him doing it himself but he is the one selling it!! professional opinion btw i ahave 15 phds in this my wording is a little weird in parts my formest apologies

I feel like it's very obvious Stan has a disdain if not a hate for his dad and he's a mamas boy. his colors match hers minus the blues being a different shade but same shirt colors even with the same silhouette except Stan has gloves instead of the little frilly sleeves... but he grows up and even as a kid he is very reminiscent of Randy. Black hair, disposition to addiction, all of that. He grows up to be his father. do you think when in the bad timeline he killed his mom indirectly that he lost a little bit of himself?? Besides the general grief from losing a parent. Do you think after losing his sister and mom that his only option was becoming his father? He's a good person when everything changed and his mom stayed alive so do you think that he thought without his mom there was no reason to grow up and be something??? do you think all he wanted to be was his mom's rockstar?
