just realised that jinx was the product of all three of them. she was raised by felicia, then vander, then silco. sounds like felicia, leads like vander, fights like silco. has her smile, his heart and his wits. has her braid and his scruff and his bangs. she's the best of them. i cant get over it

one thing I find really interesting about these frames is that if you look at the background (instead of the heartwrenching focus of the frame) piltover looks different

like physically, without hextech, piltover doesn't reach as high. the gap between zaun and piltover is lessened. and there's the different between healthy, vibrant plants and twisted chain link fences. also the amount of light, AND there's more stars in powder's universe, implying the air is clearer. god this show is good.

No idea of this has been said before but Viktor was so lucky Singed was the only one who went to see him at the commune before getting blasted by Jayce’s hammer-staff. If Ambessa “Twink Hunter” Medarda got ONE LOOK at Viktor in his little blanket robe the rest of the season would have been Jayce rescuing Viktor not from the Hexcore and glorious evolution, but from HER! Do you remember local cuisine?! He was an appetizer! Ambessa would have made a whole MEAL of Viktor! 😂😂😂

The additional symbolism of this scene that no one talks about

The shot of Jayce looking down from Piltover vs Viktor’s looking up from Zaun

Viktor’s Night being the antithesis of Jayce’s Day, the night coming when Viktor saves Jayce and the day shining when Jayce saves Viktor

Focusing on Jayce’s shoulders: his responsibilities vs Viktor’s cane: his disability. These are the main things the characters struggle with or against in their main character arcs. Both the shoulder and cane are also forms of support offered to the other carry the burden of being alone. They complete each other.

Despite their differences if not outright dichotomy, they both stand in the same place over the same drop for the same reason alone in the same halo shaped portal to a permanent last stop

Viktor takes hold of the rune stone, the magic that will both doom and save him, tying his fate with Jayce’s. Jayce puts down his hammer and grasps Viktor’s shoulders, choosing him over his duty, dream, and Piltover…. Any of that sound familiar:
