Great drink means: good balance of ingredients. . Fair portion of the cocktail in the glass. . Perfect ratio of alcohol to ingredients. . Appealing to the eye. . Enticing name to grab my attention. . There’s nothing more annoying to a bartender than when a customer says to another customer, “these drinks suck bc you can’t taste the alcohol”. . If you want a strong drink order something on the rocks or straight up bc you obviously don’t appreciate the amount of time it took them to create this cocktail and your a rookie. . .
