I am having a hard time coming up with one specific one for this but the one that keeps circling my brain is Emma and Killian from Once Upon a Time. I feel like their chemistry is quite the same and their banter and tension is very similar in my eyes.

I think it would be a past mistake and I think that past mistake is not doing more to stop the bullying of Aemond by Jacerys and Lucerys when they’re kids. I feel like Brenna would believe if she had done more when they were kids to stop or deter them that maybe Jacerys wouldn’t have had such a terrible reaction to her marriage to Aemond and they could’ve remained as close as she wanted to.

desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?

Brenna Baratheon

Growing up, Brenna’s only desire was to make her house (primarily her father) proud. She knew there was little she could do as a woman other than marry and strengthen her house.

Once she marries Aemond, I think she realizes that the desire to strengthen her house was instilled into her and wasn’t something she truly wanted. I think she really desires a life worth living full of love and happiness. She definitely ends up trying to fulfill it during her courting with Aemond and trying her best to find common ground with him and find happiness with him. All of those efforts do eventually pay off and she finds love with him. Love that surpasses any expectations she ever had of what she desired and wanted.

Are they soulmates? Do they believe in that?

I believe that in some instances they are. I think Aemond sees Brenna as his soulmate because he’s able to be himself around her and he eventually allows himself to be vulnerable with her. He’s been connected to her since the moment she set foot in court.

I don’t think Brenna believes in soulmates only because she was raised to marry to strengthen her house, so she never thought about love or connection. She just wanted to make her house proud of her. I think she got lucky that she does find love with Aemond, but if you had asked anyone before their marriage, they would say that she and Jacerys were soulmates. Unfortunately, she just never felt that way toward him and saw him as her best friend.

Who is more likely to avenge their S/O if they were hurt or killed?

Aemond 10000%. I have it canon that the whole reason during the family dinner in season one that he makes the “Strong Boys” comment is partly because Jacerys made Brenna cry due to his reaction of their betrothal.

He is fiercely loyal to Brenna and as I’ve mentioned before would burn down cities if she asked. Gods forbid if she were hurt or killed. He would burn everything.

Brenna has not been imprisoned or captured before, but there is a moment in time where she has lost everything due to the Greens and she feels emotionally imprisoned because of how much she loves Aemond.

She has lost her best friend and second family (The Velaryon’s), her house no longer cares now that she has married into the crown and played her part, (TW) she lost her first born child, and she is worried that the Greens will take her second child away from her. She feels trapped because of her marriage to Aemond, but she loves him so much it is hard for her to leave.

If there wasn’t enough seats I feel like Aemond would let Brenna have the seat and stand directly next to her or stand behind her. He would never let his sweet wife stand or sit on the floor while he took a seat from her. As both of them don’t care much for PDA I don’t think she would sit on his lap.

heartbreak: Have they ever had a relationship that ended badly? Experienced some other kind of heartbreak? What happened?

Brenna Baratheon

Brenna has only ever experienced one huge heartbreak in her life and it is the end of her friendship with Jacerys Velaryon. The two were thick as thieves and the best of friends. When she informed Jace that she would be marrying Aemond, it did not go over well. They had a huge argument and the next time that they spoke was when he personally flew to Kingslanding to petition for her to leave with him to Dragonstone after Rhaenyra's throne was stolen. That conversation ended with him telling her she was committing treason with the rest of the Greens.

It's a hole in Brenna's heart that she's never been able to fix and she carries with her until her death.

Introducing (finally) Sienna Matthews (featuring Letty Turner @eddiemunscns):

Sienna Matthews wasn’t what you’d call overly happy. Sure she had her moments, but to most people she was a bit…prickly. Which is why her best friend and best friend’s boyfriend thought she would make a great match with Roy Kent.

Too bad for them, the moment Sienna and Roy met they hated each other. Both being too stubborn and too alike to realize that they’d actually get along if they just tried.

Fortunately, you don’t have to get along with someone to get into bed with them. So long as you don’t keep coming back for more…

I've gone back and forth on this a lot, but I've written out a drabble for these two of their wedding night, and it came to me that Brenna does in fact say it first, which is amazing considering how hard Aemond fell for her to start.

I think due to him falling for her first, it was only right that Brenna says it first. The night of their wedding, he explains to her that he has always seen her as an equal and will treat her as such. She realizes that the feeling that has been bubbling in her stomach and heart every time she's around him is love, and she just tells him that she loves him.

Brenna loves a good forehead kiss. Aemond gives them to her whenever he is leaving her presence or coming back to their chambers after a long day.

Hand kisses aren't something either of them really prefer, but while they're courting, Aemond often gives them to Brenna before they part ways to give her some sort of "normalcy" in their courting.

Neck kisses? I think both really love them. Aemond often gives them during their more intimate moments. Brenna gives them whenever she can. If he's sitting in his chair reading, she's coming up behind him and giving him neck kisses. If she is the first one to wake, she's waking him up with them.

Aemond 10000% percent fell first. The moment he first met Brenna, he was head over heels for her...not that he'd ever show it. Especially not with her being best friends with Jacerys.

Brenna definitely fell hard for Aemond, but he still fell harder for her. He would burn cities if she asked him to. That man worships the ground that Brenna walks on. He doesn't show his affection in the public eye, but she knows how fiercely he loves her.
