Not going to happen but it'd be funny if...
...the Supreme Court started ruling Trump's actions as president unconstitutional, because they've already been installed and what is Trump going to do about it?
Like, the odds are the conservatives are all in cahoots but like... that would be an excellent "emperor has no clothes" type moment.

There's something to be said that the rights you enjoy weren't earned by passive acceptance. They were earned through blood and mutiny in a bygone era.
Don't let them leave your grasp by any other way.
I feel like my entire future has been hung on a noose and then thrown into lava
I feel like theres no reason to talk to my girlfriends anymore because i wont be allowed to have them soon, whether or not thats true is unrelated
I just. I’m completely empty

All of this reminded me of the story of how the band-aid was invented.
You know that Ada Limón poem where she’s like “i can’t help it i love the way men love”? my dad recently confessed to me that he became a shoemaker because they buried my grandma shoeless
oh…………………………………

Yup. The Time Sweepers / cats had time powers like the world was their own VCR, and the Tom Tom Gang / pigs had access to space powers which included things like portable black holes and the ability to jump into a pocket dimension and look out via a periscope.

Blinx 1. Blinx 1 is this all over. Dodgy controls, weird camera, so on and so forth --- all the hallmarks of an early-00's 3rd person game. Blinx 2 is great, full marks, play it, get a buddy to play it with and drop a bathtub on his head in the arena mode.

I understand that FDN and J25 are aiming to do distinctly different things in terms of it's role as introductory product, and I understand that the established playerbase largely laughed at set Jumpstart (ala March of the Machines Jumpstart) as being not at all worth it… but it feels weird for there to be two products under the same "banner" in the form of Foundations Jumpstart and Foundations that aren't both Standard legal. Brewing cards with just those dumps people into Legacy, which seems counterintuitive.
I'm also aware that "kitchen table" is a general catch-all for people with cards from both groups, but I still can't help but feel like it would have been better if J25 was Standard legal?
Jumpstart sets have a *lot* of cards. Designing them such that all cards can be Standard legal is a giant undertaking both for design and play balance. It's one of those things where the output isn't worth the input.

They didn't print a pi/pi *creature*, but they did print a spell that deals pi *damage* in the Adventure half of Omniclown Colossus. There's a lot of rules jumbo in Adventure you'd have to root through to try to get this to go infinite, but in theory it's doable?
I know Exalted 3rd Edition is just using "uncountable" as a game-mechanical term of art because saying "infinite" would clash tonally, but I kind of love the idea that some baddies can punch you so hard that they inflict a non-countably infinite number of levels of damage. I'm not sure what inflicting non-countably infinite damage would look like in practice, but I'd like to see it.

Both are a *very* long shot, but which do you think is marginally closer - a return to Rabiah or "Universes Beyond: 1001 Arabian Nights" as a bespoke supplemental product?
My gut is the first one is more likely than the second.

last one is high as a kite.
I think the biggest thing mascot horror things need to get a grip on is the reasonable balance of cute/creepy. The mascot in question needs to be cute enough to realistically be for children but scary enough to actually make for effective horror. Most games always lean too far in either direction and idk maybe it's just me but immersion with these kinds of games are important for me to actually find enjoyment in them.

Favorite line to use in an argument is “I don’t need to take this from someone who sucks toes.”
It shuts down anyone who does suck toes and completely and totally derails and confuses anyone who doesn’t.
Either way I win.

People ask for sources all the time on Reddit and it got to a point where it'd get mocked as "oh you want a source, why do you want a source >:(" but like...
Unsupported claims are just hearsay, and hearsay doesn't hold up in court. Same kind of concept applies.
at some point we gotta acknowledge that getting the majority of your news and takes and general opinions from tumblr is not meaningfully different than getting it from tiktok even though on here it's in textual form. understanding the world through the lens of viral videos vs understanding it through breathless unsourced text posts written by dykeastarion69

This sounds like someone described "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle" over the telephone to you just long enough ago to think it's your own idea.
right, so heres the story idea, im really tired so im just gonna say it. idk what ill do with it. no magazine or website will take it
a guy comes back to his place after a day at work to find his roommate is currently dying of inexplicable causes. roommate explains that he just had the secrets of the universe beamed into his head, and is now hyper aware that not only is the cycle of reincarnation real, but he personally was an outlier in a chain of rabbit reincarnations wherein a wild rabbit's soul was accidentally placed into a human's body and lived several decades without realizing, aside from severe depression and a lack of fulfillment in life (was supposed to be running from predators instead of working). the universe is now trying to correct its mistake by forcibly evicting his soul from its body, and he's torn halfway between the adult human body and rabbit fetus body so he can say goodbye
the two suddenly remember theyve been waiting on the new Bacon Blast burger from [chain place] for several months, and they agree that roommate will fight to keep his soul in his human body for as long as he can, postponing his reincarnation until they can fulfill his last human wish to taste the burger. so they head out on the highway and make for the nearest [chain place]
along the way, as hes fighting the urge to slip out of his humanity and lose his intelligence entirely, roommate reveals to guy that the burger wasnt actually that important to him when he first heard, but hes been surviving his cosmic mistake of a life by finding one single thing in the upcoming months to look forward to, then quickly repeating once he gets that thing so the despair and crushing boredom doesnt have time to set in. To this end, he's heavily romanticized this burger and is willing to do anything to get it
when they finally arrive at [chain place] and order, roommate takes one bite of the burger and decides its shit. absolute ass. but then he realizes that his friend was willing to move heaven and earth to make sure roommate got his last wish, and even if hes not going to miss humanity or even remember guy, roommate was still blessed to have this small flicker of happiness in an otherwise passionless life. with this realization, roommate passes away, dying in his booth seat, and is reborn as a rabbit in a far off field, leaving his friend with the check
what do yall think
