Hi, i'm coming back here for a very important reason I hope people understand and respect. I feel ashamed for talking about these things here but I wasn't so desperate and in need I wouldn't even mention it.

As most of you know, I live in Venezuela, a country that has been in crisis for a long time. And for the last 5 years, nothing has been easy. Almost 4 years ago, my family and I had to say goodbye to my father who moved out of the country to help us survive this mess, and it all has been in 'control'. But ever since the world has stopped everything for a very important reason (and you should stay home), my father hasn't been working so he can't send money or even pay his own bills, he is eating only twice a day so he can have food for more days. It's all been insane and I have kept my problems shut and pray everyday to get through this.

We only don't have my fathers financial help, we also have other problems here in my town, specifically in my community and street, we don't have water. And we have to pay someone who can bring water to our place and it's very expensive. Every thing is coming all together and it's very suffocating and stressing. I hate seeing my mom so tired desperate, it makes my heart ache.

Due to this pandemic alert, we can't go out and work, or try to make money cause nobody is actually working here. In this moment of need, I just need someone to tell me it's going to be okay, I know there are a lot of people who are in my position and honestly I pray everyday for everyone in this world, so that we can be safe, healthy and find ways to make it possible.

Tonight was my most looked forward to show and night of 2020. A brand new stadium full of 100,000 passionate fans, dressed up in costumes, dancing, screaming, singing at the top of their lungs as the music pulsed through their bodies. The most human connection I have ever experienced, a connection I have come to NEED. Never in a million years could I imagine the entire world changing the way it has. Pretty sure none of us thought it would go down like this.

For the past 14 years I’ve loved EVERY. THING. Taylor Swift (except Shake It Off 😂) I’ve watched her explore her craft in a way few mainstream artists are given the freedom to do, a freedom she demanded. I’ve seen her embrace her fans, bake for them and then invite them to “Secret Sessions” at her house where they get a first listen to an upcoming album. I’ve had her tell me she was jealous of my eyes (like...what!??) and THANK ME for telling her that the music had become a soundtrack to my life, all while looking me in the eye and making me feel like I was the only person in the room. Connection.

On Thursday she surprise released folklore, recorded completely in quarantine. The musicians on the album didn’t even know what they were playing for when they recorded their parts. Her label didn’t know. We all got the chance to experience a Secret Session, together. Knowing this weekend was to be once in a lifetime, thank you Taylor, for bringing us together again in a way only you know how.

I hope this is over soon, and I am thinking of everyone affected by this heartbreaking pandemic. Until we are all together again, sending love to my friends and family. You are the most important thing in my life.

We can’t get a refund for most of our honeymoon to Thailand that we should be on right now. Unemployment hasn’t come through for Derek after 4 weeks and we can’t pay rent. Now Ticketmaster is telling me they aren’t refunding unless an event is completely cancelled, not just moved or postponed with no new date. This whole situation is just fucked.
