Ooples.
Now, let me tell you about this Anime/Geek store in San Antonio. It's name- Ooples. Now that we got that out of the way, the reason I bring this place up is because very recently a ton of dirty laundry has been aired out into the public and man, it's a train wreck. I cannot stop reading this stuff. Why?
1: It touches on things like unpaid wages, underpaying employees far below minimum wage, making people work OT for free... you know, illegal stuff.
2. It touches things like employee safety and costumer safety.
3. Volunteers. OK, when you're a business and you need extra hands PAY THEM! Unless they know, for a fact, they are indeed volunteers.
4. Physical and Emotional abuse to and around costumers by the owner. Ok, WTF?
I am telling all employees and especially the one that was paid $2/hr - if everyone has a paycheck and hours clocked and shows proof of crappy pay and if everyone can show proof on insane working conditions - CONTACT THE TEXAS WORKFORCE! http://www.twc.state.tx.us/customers/jsemp/employee-rights-laws.html
