How has production been going? (I'm excited :))))
Hi! Unfortunately, we've had some delays (see the previous post). Besides that, production has been going well. The first episode is partially edited and sounds great—our cast did an absolutely amazing job and we can't wait to share it with all of you.

Release Date + Rewards Delay
[CW: Parental death, medical issues, hospitalization]
Hey everyone,
Cassie here. Since the end of the Indiegogo, we've been hard at work getting gifts ready to send and getting our show ready to be released. Unfortunately, a series of unexpected and major incidents in Nick and I’s life have set us back significantly. The worst of the issues is that my stepdad—a wonderful, caring, incredible man who’s been in life for almost a decade—had a brain hemorrhage and is currently comatose in the hospital. I absolutely hate typing these words, but currently, we don’t know if he’s going to make it.
This is an emotionally devastating time for Nick and I, and it’s severely impacted our ability to work on the podcast. I was supposed to do dialogue editing for the show, but I’m unable to do that right now because of everything going on with our family.
That doesn’t mean the show won’t get made—thankfully, we have some truly amazing people in our cast and crew who are going to help us out. For at least the first season, dialogue editing will be done by Caroline Mincks (voice of Sigyn) and Cole Burkhardt (sound designer and voice of Frey).
Show Release Date
We’re still working out a firm estimated timeline for when we’ll be able to start releasing episodes, but it looks like we’re looking around early 2022. I’ll send out another update as soon as we have a firmer release date.
Indiegogo Rewards
We’re aiming to have all rewards sent out by the end of October. We’re very sorry that this is going to take longer than expected. We will get all of the rewards sent out, it will just take a little longer.
Thank You
Thank you so much for your patience.

Donate to “Apollyon”
Hello everyone! There’s a really cool project that another production company is making called Apollyon and they’re currently trying to raise funds for the production. From the crowdfunding page:
It’s the 22nd century. The Apollyon virus has torn through the world and wiped out 75% of the population.
Now, a majority of the world is governed by the ICRS, the International Conglomerate of Research Scientists, a group of politicians and scientists working to keep the world as safe as possible. That safety means extreme restrictions on travel and trade and quarantined cities.
Dr. Theo Ramsey works in the American ICRS headquarters in Atlanta. She and her research partner, Dr. Gabriel Larson, have just discovered an effective vaccine for AVS, but the stakes to get the vaccine to the public are higher than either of them ever imagined.
The pilot episode is currently out. It seems like a really amazing podcast made by an amazing team. Please consider donating to them!

Final day of our Indiegogo

We’ve been raising money for our queer modern fantasy Norse Mythology podcast. This is the last day we’re crowdfunding and we haven’t quite reached our goal yet. We’d like to share what some of our cast and crew says about what this show means to them.
Chijioke Williams (voice of Sif): “It’s so nice to be part of a cast with trans performers and characters pushing the boundaries of storytelling. I love the representation, and I’m thrilled to show the Audio Drama community what fresh takes on familiar stories can look like.”
Kiran Kumar (voice of Benji Daley): “Working with a group of incredibly talented and supportive actors and creators has been nothing short of amazing as a VO newcomer. Also, after growing up as the token brown person in the ‘burbs of the southern US, it’s quite refreshing to now be the token cis straight guy instead”
Dana Creasman (voice of Frigg): "The show has been so much fun to work on! Nick and Cassie and the rest of the cast and crew have put a ton of love and attention to this world and these characters, and I'm both honored to be involved and excited to see where the story goes!"
Maki Yamazaki (voice of Akemi Hayashi): “Twilight Over Midgard is one of those rare shows where diversity is given the attention it deserves. The cast and crew are all incredibly talented, as well as being a total joy to work with! The script kept me absolutely enraptured from start to finish, and getting to play a character who closely reflects my identity is both kinda spooky and totally awesome! I'm really proud of the work that we've made together and I can't wait for others to hear this special show.”
A.R. Olivier (director): "Being a part of this show has meant everything to me, it's been easily some of the most fun & inspired work I've been a part of, I've been able to meet & work with so many people I admire. Not only that but we laughed (so much my face hurt) & I know I cried so I'm convinced all that warmth & emotion is going to pour through the story when people listen to it "
Nick Webster (co-creator and voice of Loki): “TOM has been such a labor of love from day one. I feel incredibly lucky to have such an amazing cast and crew onboard to make it a reality when it started off as just a small idea between my partner and I. I’m so proud of the work we’ve done and I’m so excited to see where this show takes us.”
Cassie Josephs (co-creator and voice of Morgan Daley): “I’ve had a deep desire to create stories about people like myself since before I knew who I was. Long before I knew I was queer, I was drawn to stories of queer characters. Now, as a creator, I want to make stories that my loved ones and I see ourselves in. I’m thrilled to take my favorite mythology—one that's very important to me as a Norse Pagan—and give it a queer spin.”
This is the final day of our Indiegogo and we’re only at 64% of our goal. If you want to support queer stories made by queer people, please consider donating to our fundraiser:

Final two days of crowdfunding!
https://igg.me/at/tomseason1
We're a queer production company making Twilight Over Midgard, a modern fantasy fiction podcast inspired by Norse Mythology. We’re currently in the final two days of our crowdfunding campaign to raise money to fund out first season. Here’s some info on the show and what you can get if you donate!
About the Show
Twilight Over Midgard is a show about a group of friends in Seattle who are recruited by two Norse gods to stop the apocalypse. They go on adventures they never could have dreamed of, travel to strange realms, meet gods—and try desperately to survive long enough to ensure the world doesn’t end.
Themes in the show include:
Found family
The messy, complicated side of betrayal and forgiveness
Recovery from trauma
How love (of all kinds, not just romantic) holds us together
While the show revolves around the apocalypse, it’s very decidedly not an action show—there’s intense scenes and some fighting, but the show is ultimately very emotionally-driven, focusing primarily on the characters and their relationships
100% of the characters who appear in the first season are queer! We have characters who use multiple pronoun sets, characters who use neopronouns, polyamorous characters, and disabled characters. And the queer characters do include the characters drawn from mythology. We have lesbian Thor, bi woman Odin, trans Sif—and, of course, genderfluid Loki (among others).
Rewards for People Who Donate
A Twitter shout-out
A pack of 12 digital wallpapers, including nebulas painted to look like pride flags
Stickers
Tourism postcards for four of the Nine Realms
Custom spell/offering bottles made just for you
A fabric patch
A woodburned set of runes
We also have an add-on perk that gets you 45 seconds of ad space at the beginning of an episode in our first season, which includes your name and info living forever on our website!
As queer creators, it’s incredibly important to us to make fiction that represents our real communities. We want to take a mythology that we love and give it a beautiful, loving, messy, queer spin. Help us do that?
