not surprised exactly because is it shocking? no, but the fact that they’d just come out and SAY it sure is lmaklsdfsojfbgd like as a filmmaker this is… such a cold fucking take when you are making a MARVEL MOVIE. it’s the same shit that happened with rian johnson and the last jedi; there’s a different between like. getting a directing gig for some indie shit or high-concept film or even just a Regular Fucking Movie but when u are trusted OUTRIGHT with NO checks and balances to handle part of a franchise like star wars or marvel that has such a MONUMENTAL impact on and meaning to society at large how can you just say “yeah lol i made this for myself dont like it dont watch”
