Writing Prompt #8

“Sunny, sunny, sunny… Why the hell is it always sunny?!” Shouted the Villain as they scrolled through the weather app. 

“I thought you liked sunny weather, why is it suddenly a problem?”

“Because I want to have emotional moments in the rain! Battle the Hero in a thunderstorm! Stalk them through a mist filled city!” Their mood worsened as they kept scrolling, “And this is not helping.”

“You… Forgot?”

“… Yeah…”

“The fate of the world rests on this one small trinket and you forget it in a bar?!”

“…… Yeah…”

“You are the worst hero on the fucking planet!”

“… Yeah…”

Pineapple - Jan. 8, 2018:

Pineapple here, welcome to my very first separate post! As you may have seen yesterday, Melon had made a post a bit about herself (art, writing, etc.). Today, I will be doing the same (cause I’m original hahaha)! Anyways, I hope you enjoy looking at some small snippets of my writing along with some of my art.

Example No.1 (Writing):

‘Cade slowly opened his eyes, confused as to where he was. “Where.. am I?” He groaned, slowly getting up. “Welcome to hell, make yourself comfortable,” E.D. replied, a look of annoyance on her face. Confused, he tried to get up, however, he was tied to a rope, along with the rest of the group, and couldn’t seem to move. He wriggled around for a moment before giving up in defeat.

   “This is your fault! I was doing just fine on my own until you came along!” Elara snapped at Alton, who seemed like he was about to explode in anger. “Oh, this was all my fault? You were the one trying to fight off two people with freaking kitchen knives! Oh, and did I forget to mention that the guests actually noticed that there was something going on outside?!” Alton snapped right back at her. The two continued their bickering until Cade jumped in. “Guys! Less arguing, more figuring out how to get out of here!” He said.’ This piece is from a WIP I’m working on alongside with Melon and Strawberry. All of us may be working on this story, but this little snippet was written by me ^^ As you can probably already tell, I suck at writing :,)

Example No.2 (Writing):  

‘“So we really are going to fail another mission, huh?” Elara quietly said to them, still looking down. No one answered. “This is stupid! I worked so hard just to get back into the academy and we’re all already some of the worst students here!” She yelled.’ Another piece from the same WIP (since every other story I have written sucks haha).

Hey Fruits! It’s my time to shine!

I just wanna tell you guys a bit about myself. I really love listening to broadway show tunes, they’re just super great. I’m doing my best not to be ridiculous, so I apologize in advance. I’m going to give you guys some snippets from old writing, keyword OLD.

‘They didn’t. Instead, I set the baby tree I’d been caring for on fire. I finally made this support group to surround myself with people like me and maybe even help a few of them.’ That's from a WIP I started a while ago and never edited ever again. Heheh.

‘“ Dinner’s delicious Mama!” I told her, almost gagging on my potatoes.’ Believe it or not, that’s from a short, unfinished, horror story I wrote almost 2 years ago.

‘My name isn’t banana, though I wish it was.’ I don’t remember when I started writing this short story, but it’s supposed to be funny.

Obviously, I’m the funniest person out there cough cough. Anyway, diverging from that mess of very um… funky… writing, I’ll show some of my art!

It’s really just sketches, but one piece is going to be colored for my Wednesday stuff!

Feelin’ Peachyy Intro

   Hello I am Pineapple and welcome to my friend’s Melon, Strawberry and my shared blog! We both share an interest in writing and drawing that we’d love to share with y’all. We want to improve our work and inspire others along the way. In this account, we will be posting drawings of our original characters, original stories/books written by us, and potentially other things that we enjoy. We might take inadvertently take inspiration from other blogs, but we will do our best to create original work. If any of you write your own stories we would love to read them and give constructive criticism. We have decided to give you (our delicious followers) the name “fruit”, and while our community is still small every fruit that joins will get a post just for them if they want (we will post some more information on it soon)!

   We have a big project we’re working on right now, and we need some more time to edit it before we start to share it. So for now we will be posting some other mini-stories written by us and some drawings of our random original characters! Some of the posts may even be drawings or sneak peeks of our big project characters ;). We enjoy listening to Broadway music, so Y'all are welcome to send suggestions for our writing playlists (please include the specific musical the songs are from <3). This is a kindness only blog! NO MEANIES ALLOWED >:C. But constructive criticism and tips are highly encouraged! We would love the feedback.  -Melon

  Community is going to be a huge part of our page. We want a big, fun, fresh, and funky fruit bowl community! On Fridays we will all think of a prompt and post 3 short stories about it, then y’all can share your writings from the prompt with us (we will share our favorites)! Every milestone we hit on our page we will have writing and drawing contests! We will shout out the winners and follow them. (There will be other surprises to!)
