Graphite is sort of a new medium I'm practicing and I think it's coming along pretty well. I mostly made these notes for myself for future reference just in case, but at least you've got something else to look at now!

The story is finally fully published and polished and free of mistakes! (Hopefully.) But the story isn't finished yet! That just means more to come, including the new illustrations that I've added to certain chapters. You'll see them in just a second, but after all that I think I deserve a break. Especially after all the nights I spent almost cramping my hand from all that typing. But don't worry, I'll get back to it soon. For now, I'm gonna focus on some other things I meant to finish a long time ago before I get back to work. Try not to overwork myself and maybe relax a little more.

As for you, it's up to you as what you want to see next. Either re-read the adventure or go back to where you left off, whatever you feel comfortable with. I do have a few other stories I wanna get back to continuing, feel free to check those out if you feel like it. But for now, I think I'm ready to call it a day. See you in the next one!

(And also, feel free to tell me if there are mistakes I didn't fix. I admit, I sorta skimmed the proofreading a bit so please let me know if I missed anything. I know I'm not a popular writer but at least I'm honest about my work and any mistakes!)

[IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM THE AUTHOR]

The Butterfly Girl is currently undergoing maintenance, editing, clean-up, and polishing! This isn't the first time I've had to take this through a heavy editing process, but hopefully it'll be the last. New followers or any followers currently reading this story, please don't be alarmed when you don't see it on Wattpad.

I went through ita few days ago and finally noticed... some big holes that I forgot to fill. Not to mention a few little grammatical mistakes that I apparently didn't fix during the last overhaul. So to avoid any confusion with myself, I'm takin' this thing into the back and I'm not bringing it back out until it's good and polished and ready to be seen by the masses!

That includes all the illustrations I've made. I'm working on some new ideas and they will be added with the chapter before it's published. Yes, I'll post them here too. The chapters themselves will be published daily to weekly all thw way uo to the last one I've published.

New illustrations finally completed! You might see some of these in some of the chapters, both new and old. These took a lot longer than I anticipated mostly because I procrastinated a lot and was too lazy and tired to actually do them. But now it's finally done and our story can continue!

Updates Pictures/Portraits of our protagonists. The story is currently under maintenance, but this is basically a sneak peak of the new/updated illustrations for the chapters. It'll get published soon, and honestly it took a little longer than I thought, but for the most part I've got everything straight.

These are the Twins, Fleetfoot and Flyboy. Strange names huh? Yeah, I didn't bother to question it. (Nor did I ask if that was they're real names) But we've enjoyed our new companions nonetheless.

They used to live underground in the caves for practically all they're life. I was interested to know how they adjusted to living on the surface so quickly. They had to join with us after a bizarre incident that caused them to flee.

This is Teri, another one of our friends. She lives underneath the lake near where we live. I admit, I was a little surprised when I met her because she was so cheery and bright. We didn't even know she lived so close to us! Such a small world isn't it?

Her mother went missing some time ago and we haven't been able to figure out what happened or where they went, but it's been making Teri freak out and she's doing everything she can to keep everything running smoothly. We've been doing our best to help her, but so far we haven't been able to discover any helpful clues. But we're not giving up so easily!

This is my best friend, we've been living together for longer than I can remember and throughout out years we've had to deal with a lot. Right now, they also told me to let you know that they've been having some identity issues so if you hear me using they/them (like I am right now) then you know why. As my best friend I want to make them feel comfortable so someday in the near future I'll update you on anything they've figured out. Or you'll hear it from them, whichever comes first.

I trust them with my life and no matter what happens we'll always here for eachother. And we both have our own passions too. We're both artists. I do a lot of drawings and so do they. (Personally I think their anatomy is better than mine) But they're main thing is singing. I hope for the both of us one day to be recognized for our talents, whenever day that might be.

Hello, my name is Sophia. I have finally decided to open myself up to this website and share everything I want the world to see. Or whoever is on this website that's able to see it.

I am an artist at heart and throughout my years of living, I have dedicated my life to creating things and expressing my thoughts and emotions through art. And one day I wish for everyone to hear my story as they gaze upon the many works I have created.

No, this isn't some made up OC or 'fan-drawing' / 'fan-fiction' inspired by popular fiction. This is an original story that has taken years for me to put together. The story is actually far from being complete, but I think that'll make the journey more interesting for both of us, do't you think?

For now, I will be posting my original illustrations here for you to see and give you updates on anything you should know. That also includes any random thought that pops into my head that probably sounds like I was on drugs. But I'm not. I'm just weird like that. Just bear with me here.

Anyway, I also would like to make this point clear that there may be times where I seem like I don't post as frequently as you might like. I just wanted to let you know that even though there might be times where I disappear from time to time, I will still be here. Being an Artist is hard work and it takes a while for me to finish my work. Also including whatever else the day has in store for me. So for future reference, if there is ever a time where I seem like I'm gone. Just remember to be paitent. I'm definitely not leaving you anytime soon.

For now, in the future I will add some more information about me and my friends in later posts so be sure to look out for those. (Depending on when I finish them and/or when I get off my lazy butt to post them. Because I am a heavy procrastinator.)
