Francis sent this to me and it reminded me how we shouldn’t be dependent on each other for everything, or want or be with each other every second of the day. We are our own person after all, and a healthy relationship thrives with self-respect as well. We have to understand that each of us has our own boundaries. Each of us has our own lives independent of each other but when we are together, we become this healthy, functioning, beautiful unit. We have to love ourselves too in a relationship and love the person, despite us not being in their lives all the time.
