Hey, is there any other information you can give about Nick Kovacs and Mark? They're such interesting ocs with good designs and I'd love to learn more about them! But obviously if you're busy or just don't wanna do that I totally understand, either way your ocs and art style are really cool and I hope you have a good 2018 :)

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it! They have been with me for a looooong time (I wanna say since I was 12??) and have evolved slowly over that time to mean different things to me at different points in my life. I really want to do a full-blown comic with them one day and I have the rough outline of the story at the moment, buuuut for now I'm really enjoying just revisiting drawing them after a long art hiatus. Basically following my nose with what feels right, to get the ol' art juices flowing again.

Kinda feels like opening a Sims game after ...6 years, and seeing what they've been up to.

To give a brief summary of them though: They've known each other for about 4ish years at the start of the story, working at a tech start-up as developers, Nick being the tech lead of their team. Mark harboured feelings towards Nick (and Nick suspected this), but ostensibly they had always been platonic. Nick goes through some ~~psychological shiiiit~~ and while in a volatile state, hooks up with Mark. That kinda gets the ball rolling with the whole thing and we get into fun shit about grief, self-acceptance and not placing too much self-worth on work.

For Nick "Netflix and Chill" really means "Convince Mark to watch The Third Man (1949) on the Criterion Collection and interrupt every 5 minutes with behind-the-scenes trivia"
