I made myself cry thinking about Kal seeing Oroden again and how tough it will be to watch him get older and to miss most of it and to eventually be alone again ... and maybe I need to put the books down for a while! But seriously! 😭😭😭😭

There is a good chance that Kaladin will come back to Roshar when Oroden is the same age as Tien was when he died.

Yes, and I will never stop loving this character. She truly sets a new standard in stubbornness (in a series overflowing with stubborn characters). I love that her stubbornness allows her to excel, as seen above, but also is her greatest foible and causes her (and everyone around her) so much grief. She's perfectly flawed, I love her so much!

nynaeve has a lot of hits: defeating moghedian, raising the golden crane, cleansing saidin, healing gentling and saidin’s madness, but her loopholing her way thru the raising of the shawl test is an underrated accomplishment. she used the skills of the dream world and her absolute tenacious refusal to stop being shouty and aggressive in order to defend and protect her loved ones even when she shouldn’t even remember how to do that. I mean her love for lan literally overcame the limitations of the ter’angreal and the aes sedai weave keeping her from remembering anything but the precepts of the test! her love and willingness to defend others essentially defeated the white tower, the same way egwene’s did. I think nynaeve would end up becoming one of the greatest aes sedai, an inspiration and an icon and a hero, especially to the yellow ajah

This is such a clever frame work! 😅 Poor old Rand in the top left. He tries so hard and fails so hard. Nynaeve and Elida are perfectly placed. I think Perrin is a little hard done by her, but otherwise this is perfect

I love to see the scars looking like real scars. This is so bloody impressive!

Kaladin in his rarest form: smiling! Nothing too fancy, just wanted to draw him in a less serious light for once. A few weeks ago @lamaery suggested a lighthearted interaction between Kal and Syl for my next Kal painting so if you like what you see, you have her to thank for this one! I originally meant this to be just a sketch but as usual I got a bit carried away and rendered some parts of it more than I initially intended to.
