(also this blog’s owner is not associated with nate draikinator anymore, i still think the au is compelling bc canon spottedleaf was hm. nasty towards firestar and i would much rather have an au where it doesnt erase that spottedleaf did some negative things, but also where she isnt nasty in That way bc of the whole ‘victim becomes abuser’ trope that the erins wrote her into)
