While you wait, start off with some stir-fried cod fish sperm and bean sprouts...a great preemptive hangover cure.

Revisited: Good things don't last. We discovered that we previously encountered a rare coincidence of exceptional grilling and fish of superb quality. Unfortunately, the latter is no longer evident.

In a restaurant that serves every kind of Japanese food with average taste, we're surprised to discover the chef's talent in grilling fish. We were so impressed by the exceptional quality of his craft that we went on to try every single grill fish item on the menu. We are still impressed...

We're not fans of big chains restaurants with their own in-house souvenir corner, but we couldn't resist 矢場とん. Miso Pork Chop is one of Nagoya's most famous treats and we decide to find out what the fuss is about. 

We highly recommend the roast cut みそかつ served on a sizzling hot iron plate. Enough said.....we're gonna order another one!

Spotdroppers headed to いば昇 for ひつまぶし, the infamous unagi rice done Nagoya style. The awesome smell coming out of the only smoking chimney in Sakae will take you to the best place for eel.

Try stepping in 5 minutes after meal time starts and you'll find yourself behind a never ending cue of hungry eel fanatics. We don't blame them, it's absolutely delicious.

You know you're about to taste something good when you see a room full beef bone jacuzzis in front of the restaurant.

The good cooks at Duh Keun Jip refill these giant cast iron pots day in and day out with beef bones to create the essential base for their famous soups.

Boozehound Says: We suspect that Korean soups were intentionally created to cure hangovers. There's no better way to refresh your drunken soul than this beautifully cooked clear soup. 

After you sober up, you might start having a few more drinks because of these great side dishes they serve.

Marinated Spicy Sting Ray, Raw Beef Apple Salad and Hot Stone Rice Pot are just some of the tasty treats that would get you going again. The good thing is, there's always more soup.
