Gonna be honest I feel like people are really reaching with the Shawn Camilla and Sabrina drama and the parallels between Coincidence and June Gloom because they want there to be drama. It doesn't really seem to me that they're related.

Oh she's crazy
It could be a bit out there, but I have a little theory that the reason why all the clocks are set to two, and there's a countdown for two is because Taylor's counting down from 3. Aka Midnights 3 A.M. Edition, now a 2 A.M. deluxe version of this album, and maybe when we get TS 13 it will reach 0 aka midnight, and something totally crazy will happen, especially since Taylor's loves the number 13.

Ever since we first heard it, "I love you it's ruining my life" has always reminded me of the lyric "you've ruined my life by not being mine" from Gorgeous.

Can we talk about the scene where Luke moments before dying asks Annabeth if she liked him. Many people see this as a disgusting pedophile moment, but I was thinking about this, and I had a thought.
What happened to Luke after Thalia died? He became vengeful, he started hating the gods. It was his turning point and it led to his own death. Why? He loved her.
Luke knew how much death of someone you love affects you, by the way I mean romantically. He knows it. He fucking died for it.
So just think about how this might have been him making sure that she didn't like him that way. Making sure that his little sister doesn't get hurt because of love. I mean he doesn't know about percabeth now does he. He wasn't there. Last he remembered she saw him as a role model and had a tiny crush on him (she did you can fight me on this). So why can't this be him worrying that she might end up like him in the future.
Why must it always be Luke and Annabeth.
The family he promised was Thalia, him and Annabeth.
I think after all he did, thinking about Thalia and Annabeth in his last moments is completely in character for him.

it's 230 am but I literally can't stop thinking about thalia and luke
specifically how it must have felt for thalia to wake up after SIX YEARS of being a tree. like she was 12 when she "died," annabeth was 7, luke was 13, and the 3 of them were a family. they had spent months together and there isn't a doubt in my mind that thalia didn't consider luke her best friend. she sacrificed herself for that boy, her best friend and for baby annabeth
I cant imagine what it felt like, to wake up, learn how much time had passed, see that this little 7 year old is older than you were when you saw her last, and to learn that the person you considered your best friend in the whole world, poisoned you, is evil and has sided with an evil titan.
then actually talking to him and walking away from him bc even though he was so sure she'd side with him, she doesn't. having to walk away bc the boy she loved (platonic or not platonic whatever you think...personally i think they had a thing), the boy she sacrificed herself for isn't the same even though for her, time didn't really pass at all.
and on top of that. having to look at a now 14-year-old annabeth in the face and have to listen to her explain everything she missed. it's terrible
I think about luke and thalia bc even though Luke did a lot of messed up stuff, the worst thing he ever did was what he did to thalia

why is thalia grace one of my favorite characters in the entire percy jackson universe? bc she is the most important character to the conflict of pjo and percy never realizes.
i love that he never realizes bc once the series has started, it doesn't actually matter. thalia is the trigger, the last straw, the motivation, whatever you want to call it for luke to truly hate the gods. before thalia's death he didn't like them, but he wanted to. he wanted their attention, he wanted them to prove him wrong. but then she dies and he has to watch as, instead of healing her, zeus turns her into a tree.
years before the lightning thief even takes place luke hates the gods. his quest was his final failure that made him join kronos, but thalia was put him on the path in the first place. she was the first domino to fall and there's nothing percy could have done in the series to change that. that's why i love that no one realizes the importance, except maybe thalia herself. maybe that was why she sat crying during titans curse when she thought no one was watching. it doesn't really matter bc it was too late to change anything, but she has to live with it anyway.
this is why i love what the show is doing with thalia so far. she is a ghost haunting luke and annabeth. to annabeth she is the personification of glory. she died a hero's death and gave her life for annabeth, but annabeth only knew her for two weeks. she idolized her, she didn't know her. at 7 years old when she was told all these things about gods and glory and honor, she was pushed into the mindset of worshiping the gods. she would do anything to earn their approval and be on the same level as thalia. luke did know her. they lived on the run with each other for two years. they saw first hand the pain that followed demigods, they struggled to survive together. to luke, thalia died a hero, not as a demigod or a champion of her godly parent, but as herself. she did not die in glory, she died in sacrifice and instead of honoring her and being something of a parent zeus turned her into a tree. he was 14 he already had his own opinions about the gods and this emphasized them. while annabeth was pushed towards the gods, luke was pushed away from them.
its a wonder annabeth didn't notice sooner

okay actual post abt thaluke now
holy fuck yall have no idea how much i think abt them. i just. its about the WHAT-COULD-HAVE-BEEN. its about the traumatized kids finding comfort in each other when LITERALLY NOBODY cared about them. its abt the fact that they were teenagers who raised a 7 year old together. ITS ABT HOW THEY WERE TORN APART AND WHEN THEY FINALY WERE REUNITED YEARS HAD PASSED AND THEY CAN HARDLY RECOGNIZE EACH OTHER!!!!
one is a relic from a past that's long-gone, and the other is someone who's been beaten down by the world so much that they don't even recognize them anymore.
but they still desperately miss each other. even when theyre right in front of the other it still feels like theyre a million miles away. and now they stand on opposing sides, all hope of being reunited squashed like a bug.
fuck my life FUCK MY LIFE!!!!!!

The potential of having Luke Castellan and Jason Grace sharing blond hair blue eyes and a facial scar
and Beryl Grace who abandons her children vs May Castellan who is still waiting for Luke to come home amidst her mindlessness.
I mean. All of this and we haven't had just ONE fanfic in which Jason somehow lands himself in May's home and gains himself a crazy but loving mother, whom he didn't have? Shame.

i know the popular consensus is that the reason annabeth got stuck in asphodel was because she regretted leaving her dad, but tbh i saw it as her regretting letting thalia die.
because let's be real, when annabeth and grover see people turning into trees, their first thought is probably going to be of thalia. personally i saw that scene as annabeth sees people turning into trees, she thinks about thalia, she wishes that she could have done something to save her... and bam, tree roots.
(i realize annabeth was only 7 at the time and there really wasn't anything she could've done to save thalia, but her fatal flaw is hubris- it's not so big of a leap to think annabeth blames herself for thalia's death.)

My Thalia Grace Headcanons
Her hair may be extremely Spiky and messy but it's actually very soft and fluffy. Like a cloud.
When she's sad her hair is less spiky and more flat and messy
Her eyes are very expressive and often reflect her mood.
When she was first learning how to control her powers she blew up several appliances. It still happens when she's really emotional.
Her fear of heights was developed through a certain experience that probably involved a monster. Or her mother we may never know.
Was able to fly and control both air and electricity but got cut off from those abilities when she developed a fear of heights and I am dying on this hill rn. (No pun intended)
Is surprisingly a good cook and can make up good food with random ingredients on the spot but still prefers to follow the same recipes she usually has or knows. Although ppl still find it weird that she managed to make good food despite setting the stove on fire more than once.
Pretty sure her mom told her she was a daughter of Zeus but bc her mom is well Beryl, she didn't believe her.
Drunk! Or Sober!Beryl: You're a daughter of Zeus
6yr old Thalia alrdy done with life: Okay, to bed with you.
And when she finally put two and two together she was like:
Thalia: Why didn't you tell me I was a daughter of the GOD Zeus!?
Beryl: I DID tell you, you ungrateful brat!
Thalia: I THOUGHT YOU WERE DRUNK!!
The day Jason was born was the first time her smile was genuinely happy.
Some of her dying thought were abt him too
Sassy queen and a walking mood.
She is extremely deadpan in certain situations and it is really difficult to not burst out laughing sometimes.
Is a very emotional person and actually hates it bc her powers respond to her emotions in a destructive way and she's not the best at handling her feelings. She's also unable to process her emotions until it literally slaps her in the face.
She does however know when someone is upset and can read body language like a book.
Hates her fatal flaw and doesn't usually let it take over her moral compass but sometimes she needs to be snapped out of it.
Despises the sound of breaking glass and a whip or belt cracking. Furthermore, she refuses to touch or even be near alcohol.
Never told Luke or anyone her last name bc everytime she heard or thought about her last name she was reminded of the unforgivable thing her mother did to her brother. Bonus: whenever someone says unintentionally uses her last name as a pun she stares at them with a disgusted but neutral face.
Would also punch or zap anyone that made a pun with her name.
Is a generally pessimistic person but stays positive for those around her bc someone has to be the rock. Plus she's she's used to it.
Did not have the best coping mechanisms growing up but they have gotten better.
Shows affection through head pats, arm punches and small acts of service or gift giving. Case in point she gave Reyna the dagger. She enjoys receiving physical contact and or quality time spent with the people she cares about.
However if you compliment her or give her any gifts she will get very flustered.
Refers to Annabeth as 'Annie', 'Sweets' and 'My little angry stabby child'
The fact that she literally looks like a delinquent that is seconds away from pulling out a knife and robbing you but switches to doting and loving older sister around Jason and Annabeth will never not be funny to me.
Quite good at flirting but gets flustered when someone returns said flirtatious actions.
Had long black hair as a child but cut it the day she left.
Actually managed to get half of her grade to crush on her while she was still in school but she never caught onto it bc ur young and you don't know how to process this emotion without being mean or awkward.
Likes sandy haired blond boys and dark haired girls that can kick her ass.
Personally I see her as Demiromantic that leans towards women
Her time at Camp after waking up from the tree leading into TTC was very difficult for her.
Hasn't been able to sleep peacefully since she got back from the Pine Tree. If it's not usual demigod nightmares, it's dreams of herself being ripped apart on the Hill and then waking up frozen in place. Sort of like sleep paralysis.
Might be a bit out there, but since she became a tree on the verge of death/probably standing in front of Charon at the time, she still had her wounds from the hellhounds that attacked her on the Hill. bc of this during her time as a tree she kept feeling the pain of herself getting torn apart over and over again until she was numb to it.
Annabeth talked to her tree everyday and those moments of talking abt her day was Thalia's only reprieve.
Despises promises and refuses to make vows on the Styx unless she's absolutely determined to get her point across.
Loathes mirrors and reflective surfaces bc no matter how bruised or bloody or how much dirt and grime ends up on her face, whenever she looks in the mirror she still sees her mother staring back at her.
Her leather jacket definitely has some kind of sentimental value to her. That or she just refuses to buy a new one until it's in threads.
Is very good at fighting with and without weapons.
Fights extremely quickly and fluidly and all of her attacks are powerful and precise. A reference to her powers of wind and lightning.
Has a weird habit of befriending any and all animals, including hostile or aggressive ones.
When she was a kid she used to go to the pet store and look at the puppies and kittens to make herself feel better when she was sad.
Was Luke's Platonic Soulmate
Her first meeting with Zoë consisted of Thalia thinking she was hot and genuinely liking her as a person but that backfired during their fight
I feel like her mother signed her up for all these extra curricular activities as a way to get the paparazzi to paint her as a 'good mother' so now Thalia has all these random skills no one thinks she would possess. She also hates doing most of these activities save for a select few bc they remind her of what her mom made her do.
She can skate. Not just on ice but with rollerblades too
The fact that she's a 22yr old in a day before 16yr Olds body is kinda funny to me.
Feel free to add your own too! Im interested in ur thoughts

I don’t know how many other people have put this together, but Thalia Grace is a version of sleeping beauty.
She’s basically cursed from birth. She’s a child of the big three born under the pact, so there was very little chance of her even making it to 16
The modern sleeping beauty is said to be based on a fable from the 1600s that’s named Sun, Moon, and Talia. Talia is the stories version of sleeping beauty, although her story is more grim than modern versions, and she is put to sleep with a splinter of flax. Talia and Thalia are very similar names, and CAN be pronounced the same
Thalia, in Greek mythology, is a muse, but it’s also a word. In Greek it means to flourish, to bloom, or to be joyous. Briar Rose is one of the more popular names for sleeping beauty, and she is named after a flower. So Thalia is named after something a flower does, which is flourish/ bloom. (This one’s a bit more of a stretch tbh)
Grace and beauty go hand in hand. Grace is also one of the gifts that sleeping beauty receives from the fairies in some adaptations of the fairytale.
Thalia Grace is put into a magical sleep for years to save her life, obvious one
Thalia Grace and Sleeping Beauty both have plants that grow around them/ on them that (in some adaptations) protect their ‘kingdom’.
In conclusion, Thalia Grace is a sleeping beauty retelling that I did not catch for like 8 years

Everyone always talks about how Jason hates promises bc of what happened to his mother and always does his best to keep his own promises (good for him btw).
But what about Thalia?
Picture it, a 6 year old Thalia listening to her mother promising that things will get better, she'll stop drinking now that her dad's back. And she believes it. She believes that her mother’s stability will finally be restored and she doesn't have have worry so much.
And then the promise is broken by Zeus leaving again and Beryl sinking deeper into her volatile state. 9 months later Thalia's looking at baby Jason for the first time and promising to always protect him no matter what. 2 years later he's gone, according to Beryl he's as good as dead.
Next thing yknow she's on the street with Luke and he's helping her keep going with the promise of Family. At some point she finds out about the oath and feels anger churn inside her. She later asks Luke to take care of Annabeth. He promises he will, then she gets back 6ish years later and he's gone rogue.
Whatever you do, don't picture someone Thalia values a lot in her life promising to always stay safe or something and Thalia just telling them to stop. "Just stop. Don't promise me something you can't keep."
Besides what could you possibly promise to the girl whose entire existence is the result of a broken promise?

It was 1 am when I thought this but:
Everyone hypes Dark Percy and say that his actions would be justified if Annabeth died and he would blame and turn against the gods.
When you think about it, that’s what Luke did after Thalia died.
good intentions but bad decisions and ways to succeed.

We don’t talk about Thalia enough. We don’t talk about Luke.
The little girl who grew up knowing her mother was obsessed with her father. The little girl who grew up knowing she wasn’t supposed to exist. The little girl who raised her baby brother, who raised a baby because her mother wouldn’t. The baby who her mother abandoned, without even telling Thalia why.
The little boy who grew up knowing his mother was broken, broken by his father. The very same father who wasn’t even ever there. The little boy who was loved, sure, but when has only love ever been enough? When will love, on its own, ever be enough?
Those two children were on their own for years—maybe not literally, before they ran into each other, but throughout their lives they had nobody—before they found each other. They remained together but with no one else for a long while. Fighting to survive with only their own help.
And then they met a little girl. A little girl with nothing but a hammer and a trash can lid against the monsters that they were barely able to fend off together. A little girl that they looked at and told, hey, we’re going to protect you. A little girl that you know that they loved and raised as best as they could.
When did Luke stop loving that little girl, stop protecting her? Thalia must have wondered, when she came back and was suddenly confront with a girl barely a year or two younger than she was, when before she was a little kid. How long did it take for her to adjust to seeing Annabeth this way? Did she ever adjust? Could she?
