more bookbinding
this first one is definitely a favourite because the cover is a piece i painted, scanner and printed c:
its binding is coptic eith some spine decor
this one is dotted, illustrations for the cover are ernst haeckel, he's like my favourite scientific illustrator
I printed the pages myself bc i noticed not everyone is into sketchbooks and plain paper
fishess!! also secret belgian bookbinding
I've started to varnish the covers so the paper is water resistant and i think that was a pretty good move

Not me getting distracted by the book store as soon as my parents left. It's not my fault that the magnetic intensity is a little too strong around it :v
I was outside for most of the day so I didn't get much studies done. It feels nice to be home after a long day ^_^ My back is crying btw

My rebinding of The Hobbit, the illustrated version. This book came out lovely. It's one of the few examples I didn't use hand marbled paper but Chiyogami paper (the decorative tree paper) instead. It was the right call. The rest is green goatskin with some metal furniture (decorative pieces on the cover). And of course the gold tooling on the cover and spine are all hand done.
