HELLO, TUMBLR!

Whoo, so. How's everybody doing? Living in a constant state of dread and anxiety? Cool, me too! Anyway. As previously mentioned, I have been drowning in a sea of existentialism for the past several months (can't imagine why) and on top of being busy with work and other general adulting things, you may have noticed that my Scooby Doo fanfiction has taken a back seat. That's an understatement. My fanfiction was like, left behind at a gas station and every time I thought, "Ooh, I should go back for that," something else came up and I had to keep driving. Well, I'm back at the gas station, gang. I am like, 22% done with the newest installment, "Scooby Doo and the Warlock's Curse," and making steady progress as I work on it daily. My hope is that I will begin publishing on Fanfiction and AO3 at the end of March/beginning of April.

I'll be back sometime next month with more information on what to expect from this installment, as there will be more adult content now that the gang are like, firmly college-age. In the meantime, please accept my sincerest apologies for my absence, and I look forward to publishing more content for you soon!

So! Things have been pretty hectic lately and I've had trouble finding my bearings. But I feel as though I have my feet firmly under me again, so I'm hopeful that I'll be ready to start updating "Scooby Doo and the Book of the Dead" again relatively soon! There are only three chapters left, so I can see the end of the tunnel!

My question for you, my dear readers, is this: which of these would you prefer?

1.) Updating the story whenever I finish writing a chapter, with the understanding that it may be several weeks between updates?

2.) Finishing all three chapters and then updating the story weekly as per usual, with the understanding that it may be several weeks before all three chapters are done?

Please let me know! I just feel awful for making you all wait so long, and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding!

Do you take fanfic requests?

Hello anon! Thanks for your question!

I do not take fanfic requests -- I have not ever done this, and I truly do not think I ever will. I attribute this to two factors.

1.) I already have so many of my own ideas bouncing around my head, I don't have the mental capacity for requests.

And 2.) (and this is probably the more important one) I already procrastinate on my own work. I'm just now back from a five-month hiatus. I once went EIGHT YEARS between updates. People who request fics deserve better than the likes of me.
