i don't know if these scenes (exodus and sainw) have been compared before, but i just can't get over them. i really like how similar the fights were but how different (and devastating) the outcomes were. in one raph was able to save his brother and in the other, he was not. in one karai lost and the other, she did not.
in all seriousness, this scene was kinda sad since karai probably didnt know the whole picture on why oroku saki was leaving and she just thought he wanted to go home peacefully yknow?
so basically; agent bishop is the best villain in 2k3 and this is why
he works for the government under the "earth protect force" which is a branch of government made to protect the earth against extraterrestrials. in his words he is “the man the government funds to do projects they don’t want to dirty their hands with”. in the 19th century he was abducted and experimented on, leaving him traumatized and afraid of aliens. it's thought that the aliens gave him a supernatural healing factor leaving him unable to ever die. this is how he makes it to present time (2003) and later 2105.
he dedicates his entire life to protecting the earth so that they never have to go through what he did. i think this all kinda changed in the 2000s though. he applied an "any means necessary" approach to his mission, and was aiming to accumulate alien technology and use it to improve humanity's gene stock and build an army of super-soldiers by doing secret (and quite illegal and unethical) experiments on captured aliens and mutants. he experimented on leatherhead, a mutant alligator friend of the turtles. he captured the turtles and their mutant rat father, gathering DNA for his super army. he’s a villain who wasn’t afraid to, well, get his hands dirty. i mean like seriously imagine waking up in a lab full of scary tools that were meant to dissect you. even a fully trained ninja turtle master would get scared. (not to mention they’re still teens)
also, the foot clan hates him because he tried to steal the crystal thing (accidentally freeing those dudes) i just find it super funny that even the enemies of the turtles hate him too. mans is a whole social menace. he’s honestly a super cool villain that i always loved to see, especially in the fast forward season!
