what laptop do you reccomed to start out with when making covers?

anything that can run reaper! just make sure it has adequate ram. 16gb recommended but 8 is ok as long as you're not doing anything too complicated... good luck!

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before but I'm fairly new to making cover music (love listening but only recently want to start making my own), but I have no idea how to have clean instrumental version of the music and especially since I'm starting out don't really have the connection to commission or the resources, so I am wondering if you have any tips on starting?

i actually did a livestream a few years ago which runs through everything: recording, mixing, equipment, etc

there's this google doc set up by lokiism which details recording and mixing tips

the lovely folk who run the youtaiteresources twitter recently opened up a website with resources as well when you're ready to dive deeper :)

i recommend going on youtube and "looking up how to record at home" or "how to mix", and also joining the discords recommended in youtaite.com to start out as well.

sometimes you remember to take your meds and they end up becoming good days

most days you don't though, and those days are just ok i guess.

being neurodivergent sort of sucks but it's what i got so i gotta make the best of it.

anyway look at these dakimakura samples i got.

the print shop was nice enough to send me a picture of the sample before they printed the rest.

i'm also currently ordering sbwy cds for the local crowd. any leftovers i'll sell overseas (i finally found a way to do it!!)

this sunday may be a merch packing stream! i'm waiting on the prints from the print shop as freebies though... haha ;v;
