The second volume has room for plenty more submissions! Been a long gap in new entries, but one of the goals of this project is to move as slowly as anyone involved needs. (This is only slightly an excuse for how distracted I've been and forgotten to plug the project recently.)

I'm waiting on more submissions; we have enough for about half a book, but new submissions have slowed down to about one a week right now. There are still a number of people who have expressed interest in submitting and just haven't gotten around to it yet.

how far along are you for the printing process? What does the timeline look like for mailing out the zines?

I got the first printing last week--however, two images were printed unclearly, and two were omitted. So! I'm waiting on a sample of a better version before I make the announcement that they'll be available. (If not, everything misprinted will be fixed + reprinted in issue #2.) No matter what, we're moving forwards by August 1st.

News update of mostly good! Got everything printed, and only THEN realized I'd messed up the page count such that 2 contributors (lulu and SEIZAN) got left out--going to talk to the printer about my options, but I think since I already know I'm going to do a second issue, I might talk to those contributors about pushing them to the next one so I can get these guys out into the world sooner than later.

There are still slots, we'd love to have you! The age of DIY is kept alive by doing it ourselves.

hi hi!! are spots for volume 1 filled up? just wondering where my girlie will end up if i submit her now.

if it’s rolling over to volume 2, are 3-4 page comics allowed because of the increased slots or do you still wanna keep it to 1-2?

Yes, we're on issue 2 now! Issue 2 is turning out to be more minicomics than single pages so far, which is neat. I've already gotten one 3-page submission, so feel free to run long if you really can't fit it on two (or three) pages.

BANDS I THINK HOBIE BROWN WOULD LIKE: a zine

from fanart to playlists it’s clear people only know white artists, some not even punk, so i made a zine and accompanying playlist with Black punk artists that i rec instead - enjoy !
