Can you send me your kvothe illustration without your trademark on it, I want to make a t-shirt with it as a gift to a friend, if you want some kinda payment we may sort that out too.
I’m not replying to the ask itself since I don’t want to release anon’s contact information. I mostly want to express that no, I won’t be sending my unsigned illustration file. I don’t know what anon’s intentions are—they might be innocent as they say—but if I were to send the file, nothing would prevent them from reproducing it more than just for their friend. This kind of request seems fishy and very alarming to an artist. If you or anyone else honestly just want to get merch of someone’s illustration, message that person (preferably privatively) and ask if they’re offering that kind of product themselves. Asking for the file itself is like asking an access to someone’s bank account.
